I’ve never had such an awful experience at a steakhouse. My husband and I regularly dine at steakhouses in Austin and this was by far the worst. We had a reservation on a Saturday night, and waited about 20 minutes prior to being sat. Once sat, we placed our order. Appetizers took 1 hour to come out and on our entrees took another hour extra to come out. We were so disappointed while waiting for our entrees that we wanted to leave. Our waiter was no where to be found for a period of time. Waiter apologized and said he would send manager over. Manager waiting 20 minutes to come over until our food had just been served. He said they had large parties and it has been a busy Saturday night. It was not really much of an apology. I have seen better service and the food was just was okay. For other steakhouses in Austin with a guaranteed great experience I would try Eddie V’s or Trulucks. My husband and I will never be back to any Perry’s location.

The food is pretty good! With that in mind, you're going to pay for every ounce of deliciousness you put in your mouth, so maybe grab a snack before-hand if you like to stuff your face like I do! Ps the lobster mac & cheese is so good, a must try.

It was pretty good, steak was great. Parking awful. Service very good. Perry's did things differently. If you like pork? The pork chops are a show, by themselves.

Went for our 3yr anniversary and were not disappointed. Both my wife and I agree, one of the best steaks we have had ever. Everything is a la carte, so does get add up but well worth it for a special occasion. Will be coming back, no doubt about it.

Our food was just okay for the price. We've had much better steakhouse experiences. Service was excellent. Drinks were really good but very pricey. The blueberry, cucumber martini was very good! Don't get the macaroni and cheese!!!! It's the worst! They graciously took this off our bill. It was good but would not go back.

Great ambiance and service. Lots of other reviews rave about the pork chop which prompted me to order it. It was just as good as everyone else has said. Salad, pork chop, and dessert is only $35 on Sundays, a great deal.

First let me say the server was phenomenal and so was the appetizer. The steak was cooked incorrectly twice and so was the lobster. The manager proceeded to tell me it was my fault because of the way I ordered it. Then said that the cut was thinner because of the way I wanted my filet mignon cooked. The first one had the correct thickness and the second was half it thickness. The server came over and said that the steak would be removed and they would like to offer complimentary deserts. The deconstructed lemon meringue w/blueberries was not good. The bananas foster was prepared table side and poured over the vanilla ice cream that never melted. The ice cream stayed hard as a rock. Needless to say we paid our bill and will never return. Stop comparing them to Ruth Chris.

The staff and decor are very classy, and you really feel at ease when you are here.

The shining star though, is their signature pork chop dish. Oh, my lord.... The taste, flavor and skill that went behind the cooking of this pork. I can't believe it. I've never tried pork chop and been even happy with it as a meat, but wow. This is easily in the top five meat dishes I've had.

    GET THE PORK CHOP!

You MUST go here on Friday for lunch. They have their famous pork-chop at a reduced price ($14.99). It is sooooo good! The pork-chop is really juicy and is served with mashed potatoes. I added some fried asparagus and it was delicious too.

I had a decent time here but would probably never go back. I went a couple days ago with my boyfriend, we weren't celebrating anything, just trying something new. I had a reservation, but when I walked in I felt like the host was looking down on the two of us. We're 19 and 21, so we're a bit young but it felt a little demeaning that he assumed we didn't have a reservation just because he look a bit younger than the average patron. The interior design was really outstanding and glamorous but the live music was very loud (we were seated by the bar ) and it was hard to have a conversation. I ordered the surf and turf pasta and it was pretty good, but I've had much more memorable dishes at a lower price elsewhere. The waitress was kind and attentive. If I went back I would definitely try the tomahawk steak.
I guess the place is nice for the nice atmosphere on a special occasion, but the quality to price point ratio isn't good enough, from what I experienced, to be a routine customer.

average food and service (we sat in the bar). And very expensive. Perry's used to be our favorite steakhouse in Austin however quality has been slipping recently.

The pork chop slaps you in the face with flavor. I am stunned. Definitely coming back. Service was great.

Pork chop really is that great. Ordered a salad it came without one component. Had a vegetarian in my group ordered a side of their "famous" apple sauce with her entree they brought out the smallest ramekin I've ever seen. Which was bizarre, and they brought it out with the bread and placed it in front of her like a dinner plate. Pretty standard chain steak house with really really delicious porkchop.

Great service and good food in good sized portions. What's not to like. We're visiting from back east and this is the best meal We've had in TX this or anytime. Highly recommend the signature dish. Bring and appetite or order the half portion. Good wine list also at reasonable prices.

Our evening began quite well. The food was good but then the service quality dropped. Our wine orders were taken well into the dinner. I think our waitress had too many other patrons to help. When reservations were made, it asked about special occasions. I told them of the couple with 50 yrs. of marriage who we were treating to dinner. After dinner, we were given the dessert menus for purchase. Not sure they really want to know about celebrations! Think it would have been nice to treat the couple with a free dessert! We spent over $300 with tip. It could have been more special with better service and a complimentary dessert for the celebrating couple!!
