This is a regular stop of mine. They have old school Seafood which is fried, but you can get it black and or grilled. They do get special items off the menu, so be sure to ask as they won't mention it. This includes rainbow trout or steak fillets. They have an awards program, which can get you money off in future visits and occasionally award you $5 off for $20 purchase. They're reasonably priced and have a full bar.
Had a great dinner. The food was awesome as was my waiter Matt. The prices were very reasonable as well. For some reason our tarter sauce had cinnamon in it lol. Weather is was on purpose or accident, it worked well. The only thing i had any issue with was the cole slaw. It was very rich with mayonaise and made it taste bland, but that was very minor compared to the rest of the meal and the friendly service. I will definitely be returning.
Loved the food. Great enviroment, everyone was friendly and helpful. Our server Matt was a great guy and helped us decide what to order with the info he gave us. We will definitely be returning and adding Ernie's to our favorites list.
Fettuccine sauce could be a little thicker. It was too runny for me. Outside of that the food and service was very good.
Nice people, nice service, very poor quality food. Only thing good was the childrens chicken strips, everything else tasted old, overcooked/reheated. We ordered bacon wrapped scallops, escargot, crab cakes meal, seafood gumbo, children meals.. chicken strips and popcorn shrimp.
Oyster PoBoy was perfect. Oysters were moist and not at all greasy. Bread was that airy crispy nola style. Creamy slaw was crispy fresh. Seafood gumbo a solid performer with just the right amount of kick. A great meal!
My first visit and I was told to seat myself as the greeter was on the phone. I head toward a table and the waiter slams into me from behind while carrying a tray. He was in a hurry I guess . I thought to myself "I hope he isn't my waiter" but he was. I ordered the fried fish and shrimp with coleslaw. The coleslaw was not edible. The fish was just okay but the shrimp was bad. I usually give a place a second chance but not sure about this one. Prices were not bad .
Tonight was our first time going to Ernie's, the host seemed very sweet and Inviting and seated us right away.we also had a sweet waiter named Chase.A little disappointed in the food and the wait time for the place not being too busy it took a total of 40 min to get our food a lot of wait time. When we finally got the food it was just okay. A little over priced for what you get. The best part of our visit was the gumbo soup.
On vacation from Kansas City, Missouri. This is the best sea food we have ever had. Our server was Michael and he was absolutely fantastic and very very personable. I would most deff suggest this restaurant to anyone that is visiting and suggest that you try the stuffed salmon and Mexican catfish. If we ever come back, this will be the first choice of restaurant for us. Thanks for a great experience!
Cozy place with a local crowd The food is very good and the drinks are strong
Good food most of the time but sometimes not great. Staff is nice but the last couple times were a bit slow getting our food out. Probably about an hour from ordering to getting our food.
Customer service is delightful and food is so good. I would definitely recommend this to people. Great atmosphere and great company.
Really enjoyed Ernies. Cori, our waitress, was friendly and attentive. Parking was easy and we were seated right away on a Friday night. I had Mexican Catfish and my wife had shrimp. We both really enjoyed our food. I also love the beer prices which were very reasonable. So glad I found this place and will definitely be back.
This place is awesome. You'll get the best service and the best food in Fort Worth. And the drinks and the bartenders are awesome.
