Pappasitos is our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant!

This is our go to birthday place. I love their chips and salsa as well as their tableside guacamole. Drinks are priced well. They are known for their fajitas and once you try them you'll know why. My favorite is the bacon wrapped shrimp. My wife who will only eat bacon by itself and doesn't like shrimp loves these.

I've always liked the environment of this place and the food; beautiful fountains at the entrance and great drinks. Little pricey but one of those places where you go a couple or several times a month. Excellent service, great food and a good idea for date night. Nice happy hour and daily specials as well.

Absolutely great. Give five plus stars. Very friendly stuff, family friendly, didn't wait for being seated. It was our first time going there Emma S. made this visit awesome. She did a few recommendations regarding the food. Beef fajitas was so delicious, I'd love to try the dessert from Pappasito's but I was not able to since everything was dicious I had no space left for the dessert. Additional she called the manager to help with finding a vegetarian meal for us, he was great explained and told us all the ingredients. This knowledge is helpful when you want to avoid some specific ingredient. Also recommended a margarita which I loved.

You can never go wrong with Pappasitos. I love the atmosphere and the friendly customer service when my family and I visited. Just wow! The food was spot on. Money is never wasted at this establishment. Thanks for the delicious Mexican cuisine!

I was not impressed by the taste for as much as it cost. $20 for 3 tacos, beans and rice. Salsa tasted like water. Looked pretty though. Ordered a zombie and it was like drinking fruit juice. No alcohol. Dessert trio was the only thing that was tasty. Service was wonderful.

We always enjoy Pappasito's, especially for the atmosphere. We Love the Bacon wrapped Shrimp Brochette plate the best, but everything is really awesome here!!! We recently went there for our 30 year anniversary and Alex, the manager, helped me surprise my wife with a trip to Hawaii with a note at the end of our meal stating, "Happy Anniversary, Enjoy Hawaii!" She looked at him puzzled, looked at me with her big green eyes and started crying with excitement. It was Great! He really made it a special evening for us both! Thanks to everyone at Pappasito's for a wonderful dinner evening!!!!

Horrible service. The waiter was slow and clueless. They brought me the wrong food and drink. They over charged us for our food and we had to pay extra to get the right food brought to us.

My meal at Pappasito's Cantina was the best meal I had in San Antonio! The food was so delicious and and fresh, truly! Every item I ordered was exceptional! But, on top of that, the service and genuine care from supervisor, Scott S., made the entire experience one I will never forget. He was so kind! He even had taken the time to package my remaining food for me! Thank you so much!

I'm a fan of this restaurant's food and service. I love their ceviche and other favorites from Pappasito's Tex-Mex cuisine. I had the opportunity to visit recently on a Tuesday since I was in the area. This place is always clean, busy and professionally run. The hostess who showed me to my table was attentive and courteous. Immediately after I was shown my table a young server female took my drink order in a professional manner after a quick greeting and then introduced me to my server. My server was Mateo and he was exemplary. Even though he was attending myself along with several other tables I could tell that he was spot on. He was very professional in his conduct and communication. I ordered the Pappasito's Grill, one of my favorites there. Took about the normal time to get my food delivery but, that home awesome salsa and chips made the wait enjoyable. Normally, I get juicy, well-cooked and prepared select beef chunks, chicken and shrink brochettes. During this visit I noticed that the beer chunks were, how can I say this, not what I expected, too many random mystery pieces. This chicken was great but the bacon-wrapped shrimp brochettes were "tiny" and looked very minimal. Overall I had a pleasant dinner and will come back again and again. Recommend.
