Went to do some shopping at the Pearl Brewery area. This place all decorated for Christmas it's hard to not to be all excited.
Went in to couple of shops but little out of price range. We love books. Went into Twigs not sure why it's called that way it sells books of all ages. We found interested findings here and more. The staff is friendly and knowledge everyone as you walk in.response / report this review -

First timer. This place is beautiful. Very pet friendly from what I saw. Lots of shops and several eating options. Free parking was a big plus as everywhere in SA you have to pay parking. Will definitely come visit with more time

I will say, this area is a bit "hippie" like. It's not my scene, however they do have some great photo spots and fun stuff for the kids. If you're looking for a great place to take pictures this is your spot. It's got free parking, many different styles of backgrounds and feels safe. There are some good looking restaurants here, I have not eaten at any of them though.

A beautiful and modern urban environment, this place is wonderful for all walks of life. It has upscale restaurants as well as family friendly places to eat. The park and splash pad are a great place to bring your kids. It's also a great place to bring clients to show off our city.
I love The Pearl and have not found it's equal in the many cities I've lived in.response / report this review -

The Historic Pearl is the new heart of the Alamo City for locals! Not a better place in town to enjoy a laid back weekend morning with coffee in hand, food, music and shops everywhere. San Antonio's best awesomely-restored and modernized, revitalization project to date!

Had a great time strolling about on a Saturday morning looking at all the different vendors. Everything from plants to soap was for sale and a lot more wonderful smells of all manor of food filled the air as we walked around. In the central courtyard was a great band playing live music and people drinking beer. Seems like a great place to walk your dog if you have a mild mannered pet every other person had a dog that day. It was great. We had fun and will most certainly return often

Great upscale, trendy shopping, dining and living area on the river. The Emma Hotel in the old brewery had a great lobby and the Sternewirth bar is a must visit. The Three Emma's is the cocktail to order as it also comes with a story. Very dog friendly. There is always something going on so check their calendar.

The hidden gem in San Antonio! The upscale shopping boutiques and local cuisine make for a great visit for locals & tourists alike. Saturday morning markets are a family favorite, offering food, music, local vendors & more. Ohand its pet friendly! The Emma Hotel sits alongside a gorgeous portion of the river walk, visited mostly by locals. This is SA at its best!

Fun place to come for market days, Saturday and Sunday! Usually live music, great food stalls and trucks. Plus all kinds of veggies and foods to take home. My favorite place is the crepes food stall. They never disappoint. Fun for the whole family.

One of the better, cleaner parts of the San Antonio River. A great place to walk around and enjoy music, beautifully refinished architecture, and landscapes. However don't expect to find your well known chain restaurants and shops.

This is one of my favorite areas of the city. Also, Nao and Green Restaurants are some of the best dining in the entire city. Saturday morning farmers market is a great time and also the river walk behind the Pearl is absolutely beautiful and more relaxing than the more famous portion of the River walk in downtown. 5 stars..

Very cute little part of downtown. I love the botiques that can be found here. They carry everything from clothing to furniture to food items! The Saturday morning farmers market is fun to visit as well!

Me always have a blast here. The atmosphere & scenery are literally a breath of fresh air. I grew up nearby & it's great to visit an old haunt with brand new vision!!!
