Very, very upscale. All shops very nice, and pretty pricey. It's part of the whole Alamo Heights persona. I usually only go to the movies here, but occasionally I will need something specific and I can usually 'laser target shop' here and get in and out without all the headache of department stores.

Another favorite place to shop. Great for strolling from one shop to another, open air type shopping. Trader Joe's, James Avery, Old Navy, Bath and Bodywork, Victoria's Secret..they are all here, along with many other shops and eateries. You'll find a wine bar, German food, Italian, and other great places to dine. By far, my favorite place to shop. You'll find it all here.

Really nice looking strip mall type place with upscale restaurants and shops plus a movie theatre.
The Italian place here has some really good sandwiches and the bread they bring out has a very good crust to it with that just baked freshness. I highly recommend it for an early lunch.

Great outdoor mall, movie theater, easy walking, plenty of shops and restaurants at a variety of price points. Something for everyone. Great design. Always clean and well tended. More shops and eateries right behind the Quarry Market. Doctor's offices and golf nearby as well. Great area of town.

One of the original open air shops in the area. A varied selection of clothing price ranges, something for everyone's wallet. The are any number eclectic eateries. It's a nice location to just walk shops browse. Did find and do recommend you exercise caution -- cars and close parking is the issue. Parents with young kids stay attentive, it only takes a moment to change lives with the amount of cars and the traffic pattern and closeness. That warning aside it's perfect to enjoy.

Don't enjoy as compared to when they first opened. Love how they kept some of the original structures, from the Rock Quarry it once was though!!!!! Love trader Joe's across the street!. Grew up in Alamo Heights, fits in perfectly with the neighborhood! Can't forget Whole Earth, LOVE THAT STORE!!!!!!

I TRY not to go here because it hurts my wallet. I recommend not going into the Whole Earth Provision Co or Nordstrom Rack. There are too many deals on shoes and shiny things and linen things and soft furry jackets etc. I usually try to go with about 400 dollars in the budget and then do all my shopping for the year in one go, because while that sounds like a lot, it really does stretch well during the sale times. Happy shopping!

Great shopping and eating. Multiple high end restaurants as well as casual dining. Plus a movie theater. Variety to choose from to please the whole family. Plenty of parking. Jewelry stores as well as electronics shops as well. Can get very crowded on weekends and around holidays!

Beautiful and safe location, the variety of brands from clothes to appliances make it easy for people to shop. The large movie theatre and restaurant scene also make it a easy selection for date night. The fact that it's outdoors is the icing on the cake.

If I could give a lower number of stars I would. This mall's security is a joke. Had our vehicle broken into and a camera bag stolen. The security was not surprised and said it happens all the time. Security was able to point out how they got in to the vehicle within seconds. NO CAMERAS AT ALL. How does this happen in 2017. Apparently the Customers are not the Mall's concern just your wallet. PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK.

SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK! This place is a hot bed of criminal activity that thrives on the lack of cameras/ understaffed security. No one will tell you that because it will ruin the "luxury" reputation of this place.

This shopping center has no cameras and gangs of petty criminals.

The criminals of San Antonio know there are no cameras and thrive on this. These thugs sit in the cars, and in the stores working in teams to watch security and customers. They roam the parking lot breaking into vehicles and damaging customer's cars in the process. Don't learn the hard way like I did. When I reported the crime nobody was surprised and even explained how the criminals get away with the crime.

The Quarry wants the people of San Antonio to spend money shopping here which is supposed to be 'high end' but can't spend the money for more security and CAMERAS. The patrons protection is the last thing these people care about. No cameras in 2017 is unacceptable, and irresponsible. What happens when one of these thieves gets bold and attacks someone outright? It has probably already happened, but the reputation of this place is more importantfacts be damned. If people knew how bad and frequent the crime was here they'd stop going. While I was reporting my issue another woman's purse was stolen with her car keys in them.

Very few places get five stars from me, but the Alamo Quarry shopping center deserves it. One of the first outdoor malls in the country, The Quarry offers a fantastic array of eating options, from California Pizza Kitchen to Whole Foods Market. You'll find groceries, office supplies, antiques, a great movie theater, and much more! If you've never been here you should stop by. Fair warning, though other shopping centers will pale in comparison from her on out!
