Very interesting place. You get to board an aircraft carrier, a battle ship, and a submarine. You can see many planes up close and even get in the cockpit of a jet. Everything is from WW2 except a small Vietnam section that is like a military camp from Vietnam. Some will find the camp unpleasant because of sounds to make more realistic.

Cool location and great views. A lot of tour groups and there is an outdoor eating area. It's not amazing but it gets the job done. There are some cool places and things to see. They do some deals every so often. The boat and sub are really worth checking out. Always a great view coming over the bridge too.

What a pleasant surprise to find a battleship, a submarine, and "The Vietnam Experience" alongside the USS Yorktown! We used the headset for the spoken tour and it was incredible. The extra stories from actual veterans made it feel very personal. The only thing that would have made it better would be if there were a person to give the tour to answer our questions as we had them. Incredible history!

Excellent time. Highly recommend! There is way more to do than it appears. We were on-site for 7 hours, did everything, and still felt rushed. If you are into naval history, by itself Tour 4 on the Yorktown could take 2 or more hours. The Vietnam Experience and the Medal of Honor museum were highlights and are must-sees for all.

Awesome museum and exhibits. The staff at patriots point does an excellent job ensuring everyone has a good experience. There is a lot to see and do. Medal of Honor museum is new and very nice. You could easily spend 4 hours here and still not see everything. Great place for kids too!

Great salute to America and it's tradition of service. Lot's of stuff to see. Medal of Honor museum is a must see. Ferry to Ft Sumter, and seasonal helicopter tours available. Terrific staff, and Rangers. Fantastic view of Charleston peninsula, harbor, and Ravanel Bridge. Service personnel in uniform and children under 6 free.

My little sister was visiting me here in SC and decided to take her here before she and my son deployed to Afghanistan. We absolutely had the best time. So much to do and see at Patriots Point from the battleship walk through, the Vietnam Experience (top notch!), to our cruise to Fort Sumter (our favorite). If you want to visit Fort Sumter, you must take a thirty minute cruise there & back, but so worth the ride. The tour guides are informative and personal. You can walk all over the beautiful, scenic grounds of Fort Sumter for an hour and visit the small gift shop. The water taxi cruise is enjoyable. Watch dolphins play and pelicans. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase on cruise. Plenty of seating on deck and inside the boat. Plan on spending an entire day here if you want to enjoy everything. We arrived at 10:30 and finished sometime after 5 pm. You'll feel like a true patriot after leaving Patriots Point.

Wonderful place to tour the USS Yorktown Aircraft. They also have a submarine go in and now there's a battleship. Plan on spending a few hours to go in all of these. Nice big gift shop. Also there is food like burgers or hot dogs, chips, etc. You can board the ferry to go to Fort Sumter. Our grandsons loved it here. So did I. Don't miss

Very cool place. Spent half of the day here. With one ticket, you get to see the 2 ships, a submarine, & the Vietnam experience. Kids loved it. It's a lot of stair climbing, & narrow walkways, so be prepared. Don't forget tour #5 on the USS Yorktown, you have to re-enter tour #4 to get there.

Super fun and very historical. I am a very big history buff so all of this just made me so happy! Also an amazing thing that happened to me when I was here was when I looked off into the bay on the Yorktown I saw a bunch of wild dolphins! This place is amazing and I can't wait to go back!

You could easily spend all day here. We went as a family with two youngish children and they both had a blast. There is a good mix of history and awe as you explore the carrier, the submarine and the battleship. It's all pretty remarkable. Get used to a good deal of walking, close quarters, tight/steep stairs and some warm areas. Would hesitate bidding on a hot day, but otherwise feel it's a great value.

Definitely something to see if you're on your vacation in Charleston South Carolina. Patriot Point is a historical stop off where you can see the Yorktown and a destroyer and a submarine as well as some other historical Museum and some other interesting displays about Vietnam and other wonderful this place about our country's Heroes. It is also a place to grab the boat to go to Fort Sumner. Understand that if you're going to Fort Sumner it is going to be 10 degrees cooler if you're going to the island to see the fort. To tour the boats it's $22 for adults and about $13 for kids to go on the boat it's about the same price. I believe there may be a package price that we did not explore that that day.

I loved going to this. I don't feel like they told the story of the aircraft carrier very well. The tours could have done this. They told the story of living on the ship but not the ship itself. I got there at 3:30. They closed at 6:30. I wanted to do the audio tour. They said I would have to return it by 5. WHY 5? WHY NOT 6:30. Going on the 3 ships/submarines was very cool. I just wish I could have got more of the story. Maybe the audio tour would have provided it. The Vietnam exhibit was awesome.
