Our reception was held outside and the set up was very beautiful. We were the moved inside into one of the ballrooms and that was also top-notch. Staff was friendly and attentive, and the valet service was pretty quick. The food was also really good. Overall, we had a great time.

The facility was lovely. We were there for dinner in your fancy restaurant can't think of name now. The food was different the 8 of us had hard time finding something that we could eat when we got our food we all disappointed. To many different flavors . Service was excellent.

We had Thanksgiving buffet at the California Bistro. Everything was so delicious and there were so many choices. Our server Mollie and manager Courtney were amazing. Great food, service, and atmosphere. We sat outside and had a view of the ocean. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I have stayed here several times. It is an excellent property with a high quality facility and amenities. One way to judge a property is whether it can respond properly to a problem. On our visit last week, we had an encounter with a front office manager who did not respond appropriately to a request. In response, Simone at the front desk was particularly kind, without making any comment about her superior's actions. We then explained the situation to General Manager via an email sent late on Saturday night. The next morning, the General Manager appeared to meet us at the golf course for our early morning tee time. He was gracious in addressing the situation. We were very impressed with his efforts and attitude.

Stayed here for a week of vacation with our 7 months old and 3 years old one. Overall was really great. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is kids friendly. Good that it has a nice adult pool, so we didn't have to worry when our kids were noisy by the pool. Breakfast buffet is very good. They provide beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and toys. Which was great as we didn't bring any. Conveniently located, close to Legoland and the beach. Only downside was for me that the hotel is also a conference hotel, meaning it's quite large and feels a bit business like. During our stay there were 2 conferences and you see a lot of people with badges. It didn't bother us much, but reminded me a bit of a work trip as I need to attend such conferences frequently for work.

I recently spend a week in San Diego. I chose the Park Hyatt brand because of its reputation. The property was formerly a Four Seasons. It is in a lovely spot and provides nice views. Some of things went a bit wrong upon arrival. I pulled in and the valet told me I could overnight valet or self-park. I asked what the differences were in price and location. He said "it's just a hassle, don't self park". Well, they made it a major hassle. I had trouble every time getting picked up from the car park. We called multiples times, the bus drove past us and I waited at times for 45 minutes. It did color our time there.
The physical space is very pretty and the check in went smoothly. I booked through PTS and received a nice room. The breakfast buffet was good but slow service and hard to get in and out. Housekeeping was inconsistent. (I always tip a lot). Sometime we got towels and freshened up items and sometimes I had to call several times. I did use the app to request items and that was helpful.
We never dined at any of the restaurants.
Not sure if I would stay there again. I liked the location and physical but the service and overall experience wasn't 5 star.response / report this review -

Beautiful driveway, attentive and courteous valet, entering the lobby was amazing, doormen always at the door and when walking through there are fresh flowers displayed on the center table and the scent fills the room with an unforgettable fragrant, Omg I love smell!!. Our family of 4 was kindly shown around the lobby and was offered cold bottled water
by the way this was given to us every time we left the property (hydrate!). We were then walked to the elevator by the front desk agent I wish I remembered his name he was so nice. The first thing my children noticed opening the door to our room were the blue walls then it was the huge bathroom with separate tub and shower, his and her sink, the comfortable beds and the furnished balcony with a view of the greens. The pool area is great for kids and adults as there is an adults only pool with beautiful scenery i swear i could've touched the clouds! The outdoor patio is nice and welcoming and warm sitting by the fire and relaxing to the sounds of the live entertainment playing from inside the lounge area. We stayed for 2 nights and it was AMAZING!!! We will definitely stay here again and again!response / report this review -

Amazing resort. Stayed here for our anniversary and they treated us like royalty. They brought us champagne and chocolates and gave us free access to the spa. The pools and the view were amazing. They even had a game room full of table games and arcade machines. Truly a 5 star resort.

Beautiful pools & rooms albeit quite a walk to some locations. Great staff. Hotel restaurants were good but personally I'd change "Vivace" as the menu is too complex and the wait too long.

Very nice upscale hotel with lots of things to do: golf, tennis, gorgeous surroundings and only 2 miles from the ocean and Legoland. Has a game room for kids, pools and spas treatments. Overall great

Stayed here for a conference and it is beautiful, large room with a great view and very good service. I had an incredible massage at the spa as well. Not a lot to do on the property, perfect for meetings, not sure I would stay here for vacation if I wanted to be active, have access to a cafe on site, and easy access to San Diego.

We had a fantastic stay here for New Year's Eve. We had our 2 year old with us so we did an early dinner at the Lobby Grille and it was really nice. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Our view was overlooking the pool and water. Everyone treated us great. We will be back for future stays. Great experience.
