This is my go to place when I travel to San Diego. The hotel is incredible. The staff is really friendly and helpful. There place is always clean and the views of Coronado and the bay are incredible. If you ever have a chance, you must attend the New Years Eve party here. There is nothing like it!
Clean and upscale hotel with very helpful and professional customer service reps. My room had a beautiful view of Coronado Bay, harbor, and downtown San Diego. The room was modern, spacious, and clean! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and look forward to returning to the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
Should be 5 stars but there were a few things off when we went. The room I wasn't THAT impressed with out of such a high spending place like the Hilton. The views were absolutely breathtaking. At night BE PREPARED to hear big booms and such all night long from the boats being loaded with containers. If you at all have the chance book the north west side of the hotel as most of the container ships are on the south west side. You want the west side because you get the ocean view but just don't book over by the ships. Also the higher up you are the better. We were on the 23 floor and we could still hear them so go up even higher.
The amenities here are pretty cool. The bars, pools and clubhouses are really beautiful. No probs there.
The water was very very hard! Bring extra conditioners for sure!!
You can walk down to the restaurants in the gas light district that's a bonus.
Watch out for crime nearby, always be alert as there are a not so friendly crowd that will hang around the Hilton within a few blocks. Don't stray away too far from the hotel. Be cautious.
We had a great time and the view from the hotel was amazing. Close to gaslamp quarter and right next door to the convention center (within walking distance). The hop on hop off bus stops at this hotel so you can easily use that as a means of transportation around the city. The trolley stops right nearby the hotel and can take you all over the city also. It's a pet friendly hotel and very clean. The displays for Christmas were beautiful and they offered ice skating right outside the hotel. Starbucks and frozen yogurt place on site as well as 2 restaurants with bars and a bar in the lobby. There are 2 sets of elevator bays for lower floors and upper floors only stuck waiting for elevators 1 time during Thanksgiving. They have plenty of meeting rooms and ballrooms available and a gorgeous set up for wedding venue.
Great amenities offered.if you use them. Outsourcing your parking garage and making guests pay 35 dollars is outrageous!! There is no free continental breakfast and DO NOT eat at the hotel restaurant for breakfast, the food is disgusting and overpriced!! The saving grace of this hotel is the staff whom I found friendly everywhere. Overall our visit left much to be desired. Will look into other hotels the next time we book an anniversary weekend worth hundreds of dollars.
Came here for a business function. Great outdoor area and vibe with large vistas overlooking the bay. The indoor section of the function hall had a nice dance floor although slightly irregular shape. But gave quiet spaces for talking. Catering was delicious and the bar in the middle of all the action was good for access. Service was attentive and never missed a beat!
Nice large hotel near the convention center. Nice walk along the harbor. The rooms were very contemporary and well sized. Biggest issue was that there was a convention and the check-in and checkout lines even as a diamond Hilton Honors member were ridiculously long.
It's a great hotel. It's near a lot of food and our room has a view of the water. Beds are comfortable, the room is very very clean. The cleaning services brought be towels and linens mid day. Nice pool and 2 hot tubs.
The hotel is very nice. Good amenities and location. Staff is friendly. Food is decent. My only issue is the service. For the price you pay the lines to check in were long and slow. Staff is also slow to bring things to the room.
We love staying at The Hilton Bayfront. Great front desk service, pool service and bar service. Our last stay began early in the day where we utilized a comfy work area and Internet service. We love the location of this resort. Close to the freeway, and trolley. Great food places close by as well.
I stayed here for a week for a conference. I absolutely loved the hotel. It is a gorgeous area in the heart of downtown right across convention center. Staff, maintenance, house keeping was amazing. The restaurant for breakfast had bad service and one guy at front desk had attitude problems but overall my experience was amazing. I would stay here again and again.
Our room had a good view of the Coronado bridge. Hotel is in a convenient location, just minutes away from Gaslamp district and within walking distance from seaport village and USS Midway museum.
Staff was great and very helpful.
I attended a professional conference at the Hilton Bayfront. Overall, the experience was good. The food was above average and most of the staff are friendly. I stayed in a room with a King bed and it was clean, comfortable and spacious. I especially appreciated the large desk. Great shower! No refrigerator though which is useful as I am on a special diet. The view from my room outside was overlooking the bay and was nice. The only negative was with the front-desk staff. There was a problem with payment from my company and they were not friendly nor helpful at all. Our administrative assistant had to call their front office to work it out.
My room view of the Coronado bridge was just awesome. My stay was awesome and the service was great. I was there for a conference and I walked to the Convention Center very easily and also to Seaport Village. Great location and good safe feeling.
We loved our stay there!!! We will definetly be back to stay again. We ate breakfast at their restaurant and had drinks at their bar. The food was great and we didn't feel like we had to go somewhere else to eat. Overall fantastic service!!!! From beginning to end it was awesome
