Haven't been here for a while because of a very bad experience in the past. Several years ago had dinner here and the waitress was terrible. We never received bread with our meal even though we asked for it several times, and observed all the other tables around us receive bread. The last time we asked for the bread, the waitress was belligerent and cursed us out. I don't even remember what we had for dinner, I do remember it being horribly over priced, but it was ruined for us. Yes, we did speak to the manager and he was talking to the waitress when we left, but, I don't think I will ever go back. #CityExperts @GoogleLocalCHI

    here's an update:
Had a really bad experience with a waitress a few years ago here and I vowed to never go back here.

However,  we were invited to a private party here and decided to check it out again.

The restaurant has both Booth seating as well as table seating,  I would wait for a booth as they are larger and more comfortable.

We nibbled on a simple salad,  mini burgers, chicken sandwiches, and sweet potatoe French fries.  All were better than your average
    Party food.

With prices such as $18 for a hamburger, or a chicken sandwich for $14 with a side or salad,  prices are bit on the high side and there are lots of lower priced alternatives for food across the street on Michigan avenue.

They do have an extensive wine list,  as well as cocktails from the bar at premium prices.

I think perhaps the best feature of this restaurant is the location.  With gorgeous views of cloud gate (the bean), the ice skating rink (in winter) and our breathtaking Chicago skyline,  it is well worth a visit for the views alone.

Amazing Burger. Had the Peppercorn Crusted Kobe Burger and it was amazing. There is a good reason it's considered one of the best burgers in the city. My wife's Fettuccine was only ok.

Really excellent lunch. The lobster sandwich was really delicious. My one small criticism would be different bread would be better - like a lobster roll. Still, a wonderful sandwich! I got fries - they were good, but it was a stupid indulgence.

And I had the crisp for dessert, but with pomegranate sorbet instead of vanilla ice cream. Very good. Crisp was very hot, sorbet was frozen.

Service by Jose, with the help of others, was excellent. Fast, friendly, patient and expert.

Went, took 20 min to be seated (1 party ahead of us, 10 empty tables seen from host stand). Eventually seated then ignored for 10 min (as on not greeted, no water, no menu) . Asked passing waiter/bus boy for help they said they let our waiter know. Another 5-10 min we got up and left. Won't be back.

Terrible 20 dollar hot dog. Dices onions = 1 tiny onion spec. A relish spec and a sliver of tomato. Eat else where so a good place can move in instead.

This place needs more that 5 stars. Servers are attentive, friendly, great service, food is great. Can't ask for better! We went there twice in 4 days. Our servers were Hugo and Natalia. Ask for them! They were awesome! Thank you!!!

Our food was slightly undercooked, but they responded right away re-made the dish and comped our table's entire bill. Tremendous service. Food was great.

This place was great! I thought it would be a little iffy being so close to a tourist attraction but I was wrong. The service provided by Alejandro was exceptional. I ordered the red snapper and enjoyed it. My friends also ordered fish and chips and steak which they both thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this place!

Before I start talking about the food, the place is very small so you may have to wait. The long wait time isn't the "fault" of the staff but of the patrons 'enjoying a night with food and friends. We were lucky to be seated right away. So it's all about timing; nah, mostly luck.

Their Crab Cakes are some of the best, if not the best, CCs I've ever eaten. They are moist, savory and full of flavor. They don't fall apart too easily, bound just enough to hold its shape but not so much that you'll feel like you're eating a heavy hockey puck.

I'm not a big fan of muscles because they leave a weird taste in my mouth but these beer steamed muscles are awesome. I couldn't stop dipping bread in the juice.

Oysters were good, not amazing, but that might be because I ate a few forkful of their fettuccine with clams. It might have overpowered the clean taste of the oysters, well good fresh oysters at least. Next time, I'll make sure I start with the oysters.

Excellent atmosphere and even better food. Waitress was attentive and courteous. My old fashioned was tasty and both my and my girlfriend steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Mashed potatoes were great as well. Just disappointed by pricing of steaks and not including sides but I knew the score coming in on that. Overall a very good experience and will definitely see me back.
