Great rooms and a good location. Not so great breakfast, but I was there in a large group so that may have affected it. Really pushy room service and barely functional elevators which was annoying.
Decent room, but almost the entire hotel is seriously dated and smells like an airport smokers lounge. Staff was friendly and helpful. Functional for a quick business stay.
Attended an event and can only speak for common and ballroom areas (I can't speak for the rooms). Lobby and bar areas were clean and tasteful, staff was friendly and available. The ballroom areas were a good size although the water provided for guests tasted extremely chlorinated. Security had to respond to an altercation and responded calmly to diffuse the situation. Overall decent enough with multiple amnesties.
I booked this hotel last minute and was very pleased with my experience! Parking was easy, as was check-in and getting to my room. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn there was a lounge for status-holders (I overlooked this perk in my rush to book last minute) and so I was able to enjoy some extra snacks and meals. The bartenders were attentive and helpful when I came down late at night for some hot tea, and I was able to get a late check out that accommodated my travel needs. I would stay here again!
Pretty typical for a Marriot. My TV would not work (why I rate 4 stars) so they changed my room. They had two staff members help me move my luggage and equipment (I was in town for a job requiring a lot of equipment). That impressed me. The bar was run of the mill and bartenders were very service oriented and nice. Honestly it was what I expect from a Marriott. Would return if I came back.
The room itself was great (except we had called asking if there was a microwave. They said there was, but upon entry there was none). CLEAN AND NOTHING NEEDING REPAIR. The COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST featured very welcoming hot food such as design-your-own omelets and waffles. A CONNECTED NIGHT CLUB brings in lots of sexily dressed people who take over the parking lot during weekend nights. While the EXERCISE AREA featured a decent collection of machines and free weights, there was TRASH LEFT INSIDE that continued to be left inside even after I witnessed a cleaning lady enter and leave.
Attended a huge Desi wedding here, and was very impressed with the service and facilities. Our waiter came out and danced with us after dinner, she was a blast! Very easy to park close to the ballroom, and even though there were around 400 people, the space was comfortable.
Attended a Groupon based event at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott. There is ample parking even on the weekend. The hotel lobby was clean and tidy and the social space was pleasant and laid out well. There was some noise crossover between a separate event and the one I was attending due to the movable walls. Restrooms were clean and well-stocked and hotel staff seemed to be available if necessary.
Fletcher Mayes, General Manager and Kate Jackson, Guest Services Manager have no interest in the guests. I had a horrible stay, bathtub would not drain, flush toilet and sink would back up, had 3 refrigerators because they would not get cold (had to throw food away twice), had to have blow dryer replaced. I have left both of them several messages since Thursday. Today is Monday and they have not returned my call. I called back and was advised that F. Mayes was in a meeting and K. Jackson wont be in until tomorrow. AND nobody can give me a phone # for the district manager.
I have had a crappy experience here. First off, requesting a double bed and being told that they could only do a king bed with no other compensation besides a fabricated "I'm sorry" was quite crappy service. Front desk said that the room at least had a sofa bed and, no, it doesn't. It's a chair. So just a king bed.
Then - and this is the reason I am posting this review, it's the last straw - the hotel is attached to a night club. If you are on the side with the night club or stay on a Friday or Saturday night, you will be hearing LOUD bass music pumping (and maybe a fight outside!) until 3am.
The rooms themselves are typical mid range hotel rooms (not well cleaned but it's a hotel room) but this experience has been far from being worth $180 for one night. Don't forget, check-in time isn't 3pm like most places - it's 4pm for whatever reason, with no late checkout! Thanks!
If you can't find somewhere better, don't expect the room you request and don't forget ear plugs
We stayed at this hotel and we absolutely love it. Outstanding customer service, from all the employees we came in contact. Close to I-95, shopping and gas stations. Definitely will stay here again.
Although the staff was great, there is construction going on next door and you couldn't sit by the pool without hearing jackhammers and drills all day. I would ask about the construction noise before booking. Then when we went inside for a quiet lunch in our room, we hear more noise from roof work they were doing but they managed to stop it when we called to complain.
I attended the hotel for a birthday event and the staff were pretty helpful. There were some weird choices such as not having any trash cans set up so the caterers had to carry your trash. Which seems weird and inefficient. The actual hotel is pretty nice. There's a pool, but I didn't have an opportunity to use it. The reception area looked quite nice and it wouldn't be a terrible place to host an event.
