Have been a customer for over 40 years from purchasing to all the Departments such a service a great place to do business with!
Extremely disappointed in the service here. I had my first two oil changed done on my 2016 Sierra and they told me I had 2 free from GM and 1 free from Cochran. So I got my first two done and the service member told me he would do the first under Cochran and then the next two under GM. So i expected to have 1 free from GM left. I ended up moving so I went to another GM to get my oil changed and come to find out he put the first 2 oil changes under GM and now I have to pay 69.99. I don’t appreciate being lied to.
Great staff, very friendly, and really work with you to give u best deal
I feel like they sold me a lemon. Not only was the service department rude I never recieved a call back whem my car was finished. I had to call them the next day and when picking up my vehicle I was left for 15 min waiting to be helped. After I asked 3 different people who all claimed they were busy.Yet they was all just standing there. I asked for supervisor to call me multiple times and never recieved a call back and my car is still not fixed after i purchased extended warranty. I will say the sales man was extremely nice when i was purchasing, but who wouldnt be when ur making commission. Wish i could give you 0 stars. Very disappointed. I don't know how to reply to your responds so I am writing this one. My car accelerates without touching the gas i start the car and it revs all the way to the 2. I reverse and it goes flying backward without touching gas at all I was also told they couldn't tell what I was talking about because they only test drive it around the parking lot at 15mph. I gas while driving and it doesn't go and then launches forward. I would like some one to call me asap. Had another mechanic look at it and i believe he said it was a 02 sensor and some other things wrong .
Richard was kind and honest in his recommendations. He walked me through the whole process. I felt really well-taken care of.
Ask for Rocco. He always takes care of us! Others seem to care about the customer less and the sale more.
UPDATE: Don't fall for the gimmicks. "Free" lifetime state inspections? Good one. Went in for my inspection and they said I needed 2 tires and front brakes. Not bad, until they tried to charge me $1000+ to have it done. I said I wasn't paying and that I would get the work done elsewhere but would br back for my free sticker. They told me I had 30 days to get reinspected to get it free. Had my brakes and tires done for $400 and came back 3 weeks later for my sticker. Got there at 2pm told the guy everything was done I just needed the sticker. He said "sorry we just finished our last car and we close at 3." So I said you have nothing else to do and you're open for another hour, why can't you look at it? His response "We're just done for today. But I can make you an appointment for Monday." I said okay thats still within 30 days lets do it. He then pulls an excuse out of his rear end saying that since I got the initial inspection on a Saturday I had to have the reinspection done on a Saturday too. "That way the same guy that did the 1st can do the second." He said this not knowing who did the initial inspection so how does he know when the mechanic works? Next Saturday is out of my 30 days though so it will no longer be free. Scam artist. I'll be getting my work done elsewhere as well as my next car.
IT SEEMS LIKE, THAT IF YOU OR WHEN YOU GO THERE, THE CAR YOU WANT OR COULD GET. I WOULD SAY THIS, MY UNCLE FOR PART'S IS ALREADY SOPHISTICATED, CREATIVE. COURAGEOUS, INTRIGUING, AND VERY SOPHISTICATED AND TRUSTWORTHY AND ALWAYS KNOWS WHAT TO DO.
I recently moved and needed to have a couple of parts replaced on my car in order to pass a safety inspection. The parts were replaced but one did not work and one was shoddily attached. It turned out that the reason the one part - a tailight assembly - did not work was because the technician failed to put a lightbulb in the hole. This cost me time and money. In addition I had to glue the other part in place because I could not drive with it hanging off. Since fixing their mistakes cost me considerable time and money, I have been attempting to negotiated a refund from the dealership. They make promises and the fail to follow through. Avoid this place like the plague if you want quality work on your car.
THERE IS ALOT OF THINGS, ABOUT THIS CAR PART'S, CAR'S AND ALWAYS HELPFUL OR THEY ALWAYS OFFER TO HELP. ONE, LAST THING, MY UNCLE BOE FROM THE GM PARTS DEPARTMENT WILL ALWAYS BE THE ONE I ALWAYS LOVED LIKE FAMILY. BECAUSE, BOE WOULD COME TO YOUR RESCUE EVEN IF YOU ARE STUCK OR DID SOMETHING WRONG TO WHATEVER, BUT I KNOW HE'D COME TO MY RESCUE IF I WAS STUCK, AND GOT A GOOD FRIEND WHO WOULD HELP AND CARE, JUST LIKE BOE, HIS NICKNAME SHOULD BE CALLED ONE WORD THAT WOULD FIT ALL THE SAME GREAT TRAITS, I ALSO HAVE TOO. PS, TO EVERYONE WHO NEEDS GM PART'S, GO TO NO.1, COCHRAN DEALERSHIP OUT IN MURRYSVILLE.
I took my Saturn to their GMC service to be inspected at their Monroeville location and it went smoothly. I scheduled the appointment for 9:30AM Tuesday and my inspection was finished right after 12PM.
We had 2 concerns with our 2014 Acadia. Item #1 was an issue with the headlights. Specifically, I presented that I knew my front right headlight was burnt out. That about a week after that occurred, all headlights and high beams were out. I was told $53 to investigate. I reiterated that I knew the front right low beam was burnt out. I was called a few hours later and told by Ron that there was no wiring issue, and that both bulbs were burnt out. It was also explained to me that the bulbs were dual filament, and thus both the hi and low beams always go out at the same time. I was then told that the lights would take 3 HOURS to replace, and cost $175/ EACH in addition to the $53 diagnosis fee!!! Ron explained the high cost was due the fact that you have to take apart the car to get to the bulbs. He also said the $53 was required because they had to take apart the front end to ensure it was the bulbs that were out - I still can't believe that an experienced tech needed to spend money to 'diagnose' the issue, when the symptoms presented were so obvious. This repair cost is ridiculous because there is obviously no need to take apart the front TWICE, if it was already apart for the diagnosis fee, why would it need full labor to complete the repair? Furthermore, we refused the work, spent $38 at Advanced Auto, and my husband (who generally does NOT work on cars) had BOTH the lights completely replaced in 20 minutes. Item #2 was the 'Service Airbag' warning light. After another $53 diagnosis fee, I was told that it was a loose connection under the seat. The good news, according to Ron was that no parts were required, it was just a broken wire. A repair that was going to cost $189!!! So, the mechanic had done the hard part and located the problem for the first $53, it was simply a broken wire that required no parts, and it was going to cost me an additional $183!?!? We turned down this fix as well! The quote for 2 headlights, and the wiring repair was $650!!!!!!! So, we ended up paying the $110 'Diagnosis Fee' to Cochran and left, upset and feeling Cochran is out to rip people off. $38 and 20 minutes of effort took care of the headlights, and the wiring repair cost nothing for us to fix. We generally don't use Cochran for repairs because of these outrageous costs, but had decided to go to the dealership because of the complexity of the airbag. After this experience, we certainly won't make that mistake again. We will continue to use Midas (Frankstown Road in Penn Hills has AMAZING, down to earth customer service reps, who treat others as they wish to be treated). We will not be returning to #1 Cochran for any service work on our vehicles.
The blower for the defrosted/heated quit working on my GMC Terrain. I was told it needed a diagnostic test for $120. Guess what? The car needed a new blower motor. Rocket science. I get a price quote of $607 to install a new one. My service advisor tells me the part alone is over $400. The part can be purchased online anywhere from $42-100. Easy to change the motor. I know everyone is trying to make a dollar. However, I view this as robbery. I have had nothing but trouble with this car, including a rebuilt engine. Haven't found a dealership yet that I trust. Kenny Ross and Bowser are just as bad. For regular repairs I will continue to my local garage. Recalls only to dealership, and those come on a regular basis.
