Awesome sailing adventure with Nat from Orcas Island Sailing!! Nat was very easy to communicate with from the start. He was flexible with our schedule and the wind (or lack of). Our family of 6 (parents and 4 adult kids) had a fabulous time. Nat was a patient and interesting instructor. We sailed all around the southeast parts of Orcas Island and much to my delight got to watch the sunset from the boat. We highly recommend Nat and Orcas Island Sailing - you will regret it if you don't go sailing with him next time you visit Orcas Island!!

Nat was a fantastic one of a kind instructor. He explains everything well, very patient, and let you experience hands on learning. We sailed multiple days with him and really enjoyed all the different sailing experiences.

Captain Nat is a very experienced seafarer. A pleasure to spend time with him and learn from him - as all great teachers - you won't even notice that he is teaching you. Great guy to have on board a boat too! There is adventurous streak there, as real sailing should be. He has some very cool boats for rent, definitely the best place to go to for sailing on the Orcas, for all skill levels.

Wow!!! Adventure of a lifetime! Sailing with instructor Ben, of Orcas Island Sailing, was so incredibly fun. Not only did we learn how to sail the boat, we actually sailed it! Ben was very patient and is extremely knowledgeable about the skill and art of sailing. He is a great instructor. He takes the time to discuss safety before you even get on the boat. He is an extremely polished sailor. He is also very personable, which makes for sailing even more enjoyable. It was just so awesome!!!!

Going to Orcas Island Sailing is probably the single best thing a family on vacation in the San Juan Islands can do (not that it's a families only thing). You can spend a few hours on the water not just puttering around, but actually learning to sail the boat! Ben is a patient, accommodating captain and teacher.

Our sailing lesson was one of the highlights of our trip to Orcas! Ben helped us understand the physical principles of sailing as well as showing us how to actually do it, and made the whole thing a great experience. For a beginner, actually sailing the boat within 15 minutes of getting in for the first time was thrilling. The lessons leave from the dock at Lieber Haven Resort.
