Dock is old and dangerous. Cabin is very old and outdated. Rust on fridge. Oven smelled bad so we did not use kitchen. Great location.

My husband and I stayed here spring of 2018. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the getaway. We stayed in the South cabin and it had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy although the other bed has seen better days. I am glad we had a choice between the two beds. It's a small, simple cabin with plenty of privacy. The cabin next to ours was vacant the whole time which meant we had the privacy we wanted. I don't think we would have gotten that if the other cabin was occupied. If you are looking to walk to the beach you will be disappointed here. There are several beaches you can drive to within a few minutes from the cabin. Overall, I would love to come back and stay here.

My husband and I have always went to Panama city beach so this year we decided to try a new place and we are so glad we did. We loved the cabin and were its located. Very RELAXING very secluded. We enjoyed the bay and the ocean. If you want a RELAXING vacation I strongly recommend this place. Love love loved it!! We will be back the little town was awesome and the locales are great. Favorite hamburger I've had from General store right down the rd from cabins. Great place

Clean cabin. Nice screened porches. Sturdy, but really cheap finishings, like pressed wood, vinyl, plywood, cheap paneling. Very small. Bathroom and shower are tiny- have to turn the water off to lather up. Grounds are not well kept. Kind of shabby overall.

If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from the rat race, look no farther! Please keep in mind, these are cabins, not luxurious condominiums. They are well appointed, for what they are. Bring a book and a bottle of wine bring a lover and some extra time! We arrived on 10/13 and didn't leave the cabin until we checked out on 10/16 enjoy!

My husband and I got married in Gulf County a year ago and decided to come back to spend our first anniversary here. Let me preface this review by stating we are NOT the "pampered" or picky type, we spend a lot of time outdoors, primitive camping, etc. We loaded our kayaks and were looking forward to the rustic, remote experience as advertised. We arrived at night and were terribly disappointed by the "North" cabin. It was not "rustic" at all, more like filthy and tattered. The place hasn't been updated since it was built. While old is fine, filthy is not. The vinyl flooring was had huge tears (which they poorly attempted to conceal with area rugs), and there were creepy brownish red stains through the flooring (see photos.) The room was dirty overall, the ceiling fans, blinds, and lamp shades had significant layers of dust on them. The toilet seat was damaged and stained. There were dead bugs on the walls and floors. The nail in the coffin for this place for us was the old, torn, and STAINED bedding. I called the inn keeper, and was told "this isn't coastal living, lady" in a condescending manner. To his credit, he did agree to refund one night of our stay. For almost $200 PER NIGHT, we would have rather slept outside on the beach. I could understand if it was advertised honestly, and not at that high of a rate. We left and will not be coming back here for sure.
