I was here to celebrate my students graduation. We were able to relax and a laid back atmosphere but somewhat casual and comfortable. We ordered some tasty food and overall had a great experience.

Great view even on a cloudy day. Cold beer. Good food. What can be better?

Always a fun time at key lime. Our waiter was Adam and he was awesome in making suggestions for cocktails. I used to be a regular here when I lived in lantana. I now live on the west coast but visit key lime when I'm in town. Very good food, atmosphere, and service.

The live music was good. It is a really fun atmosphere. The food is good, but nothing amazing, except for the key lime pie. That was phenomenal. One issue is that they don't take reservations and tend to be crowded so you may have to wait. Also, there is only valet parking, which is free, but we still tip so we always need to remember cash. Overall though, it's a good place and I enjoy it.

My company has been coming to this spot every thursday for the last month or two for "business meetings" so to speak. Combine the dockside seating with a few rounds of their killer rum runners and the incredible house band, this place became an instant gem for me, and is fast approaching legendary status within our circle. The owner is super friendly (and a great dancer to boot!) We were gifted a slice of their name sake pie on our first visit, and we will never stop coming back. Thursday is now my favorite day of the week.

server was horrible. not only did she not refill my drink for over an hour until we got our check.she proceeded to find me outside because she lost the signed credit card receipt and demanded I give her the customer copy after we split the bill with the people we were with. she proceeded to complain about not getting a tip from the other people in the group when she didn't check in on us bring food or drinks. other people did. the food is as usual pretty good but these servers are bringing the quality down slowly. all in all for a decent bite to eat it's ok other than that you can find much better

I really like this place and so far all of the food items we've ordered have been good. The conch & shrimp fritters are delicious, as is the mahi sandwich. The jambalaya is good and the portion is huge.

My only complaint is the hostessing. We parked in a handicap spot on the side by the bar. Now one would think that if the handicap spots are by this entrance then one should be able to get a table via this entrance. NO. You must walk all the way through the bar area and then through the restaurant to the front reception area and all members of your party must be with you. So my 80 year old mother was forced to walk the entire distance and then back to a table. Reasonable commonsense would dictate that a little extra customer service would have been in order here. There was no line and no wait so it would have been simple for the hostess to meet our party half way and seat us from there. Nope. She wasn't having it and was not at all moved by the fact that my mother walks with a cane and does not ambulate well.

My advice to the Old Key Lime house is to up the customer service level to outstanding instead of mediocre and then you'd get a lot more 5 star reviews.

Great service. Terrible food. Canned green beans. Cold crab cakes. Flavorless. Amazing view. I love the vibe. I wish the food didn't suck.

Great historical house with lots of memorabilia. Wonderful food served in an open air room and patio, overlooking the water. We really like the crab and shrimp roll. For dessert, you have to to top it off with Key Lime Pie. Not too tart, not too sweet just right! Delicious.

I've passed this restaurant many times & have wanted to go, finally went and it was a nice surprise. Much bigger place than I expected! Though my overall experience was pleasant, some improvements could be made.

I ordered the mac/cheese w/ lobster & shrimp. While it was fair, the lobster seemed a little "off" (chewy and maybe flavor of whole meal was not quite as good as I imagined it would be, but still palatable.) It wasn't all that I hoped it would be.

Enjoyed a frozen margarita and it was just okay. Definitely refreshing on a hot evening. (I didn't like that they didn't list mixed drink prices on the drink menu.)

The key lime pie was HUGE and delicious. If it wasn't for the pie, they would have gotten 3 stars from me on this review. I'll definitely be back for the pie.

I have been to this Landmark establishment a dozen times. Their happy hour is marvellous, they have live entertainment in the afternoon and evenings almost every night. Open air seating spectacular sunset views right on the intercoastal. You can't go wrong, it's a must-see for tourist and a great hangout for locals. Fishing pier and boats nearby.

It was fun. The music was good. Only thing I would want is more beef on the menu. We were there because it is on the water which was beautiful.

The service, the food and the view were all great! A fantastic experience! I had the salmon absolutely loved it. Everyone in my party loved theirs as well. Our waiter's name was Jerry he was really good. My only negative comment would be this the floors & tables were somewhat sticky. But that certainly didn't take away from our dinner. I highly recommend the Old Key Lime House if you desire a nice "South Florida" experience with some great food.

They do not allow dogs on the patios. Surprising for a casual, Florida restaurant with so much outside dining. Good thing I called ahead and asked. This is the first restaurant I've come across that does not allow them outside. Our dog is 6 pounds, stays in her bag and doesn't say a peep. People always comment that they didn't even know she was there. I do like the Old Florida vibe of this place and the water views.

So I have been coming here at least twice a year since 1993 while visiting family in Florida. I been back here even after a hurricane took the place down and they rebuilt it. The parking is ALWAYS difficult and there almost always a wait and yes, the service is hit and miss, however it is always a great experience! The food is always fresh and well prepared and quite delicious. Lobster Mac n cheese great, the blackened mahi tacos are awesome! The atmosphere is wonderful, lively and the view is magnificent! You will almost always have a wait so try for an off time. The drinks are quite good too! Love when there is live music. Great watering hole for friends and a drink!
