We have been owners for a long time and have notice the slow deterioration of the resort over the years. We used the owners discount to book two overnights for a one bedroom over the Columbus day weekend. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised over the effort they made to clean the place up and have newly replaced appliances. The old carpets were ripped out and they painted and polished over the cement floor giving the unit a cleaner appearance. Not exactly "plush" but thinking out of the box, to improve the place at minimal cost.

We were going to Halloween Horror Nights. Everywhere was booked. By some miracle we came across Oak Plantation Resort. We got a really good deal on a 2 bedroom villa (cheaper than a motel room). And it did not disappoint. The property was beautiful! Lake, 2 pools, kiddie splash park, tiki bar, game room, fitness room, tennis court, basketball court, ducks, free range peacocks, and the list goes on. The only thing bad was the tvs in the apartment were old, and the hot tub was cold water. But for the price, it was well worth it.

The houses here are very clean and private. The staff is right on any problem that might come up the grounds are very well kept. And there is wild life that runs free. I recommend staying here to any body visiting Florida. We will be back to stay every time we come to Florida.

This is the worst villa hotel in Orlando. For the same price you can get a much better place.
Nothing worked in my room. My medicines and food went bad because the fridge didn't work. Also, the toilet didn't flush, the shower would not drain, the ac did not work, the lamp in the living room was broken and all they did was send somebody to fix it at 9:50 at night when we were sleeping. So on top of everything else, they woke us up.
Everything was a drag. The pool was not operational, nor any amenities. No discount for any of it. I will never go back.

Stayed there for a week and every one was very attentive. The room service was excellent, breakfast buffet was good too. The room was cleaned and anything that was needed was taken up to the room very quickly. Next time I go too Orlando I would make sure to stay at oak plantation. Shout out to Johnny he was amazing the whole time I was there.

If the rating is over a 2 it's fake. If I could give this "resort" no stars I would. These are old apartments that are literally rotting. There are dead flies in our sheets. Someone clearly killed a roach and no one thought to clean the wall off afterwards. However, the best part was that our rental car was broken into but guess what this property does not have any cameras. The local police department came out and advised that they visit this "resort" frequently because of thefts and that the night before our car was broken into another set of cars were broken into. You couldn't pay me to stay here again. If it wasn't for our kids we would have ended this trip and gone home already. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else

Oak Plantation is a great place for families to go. My family has been there twice with no issues. We felt the resort was a great value and certainly worth what we paid. Those that are used to luxury resorts may not be comfortable here. My family will return for vacations.

Wasn't impressed with this place at all! I booked the place as a package deal and seemed to be perfect for the 7 of us. We get to our room and it wasn't anything like the pictures. Very outdated, look like we had blood on the wall as soon as we came up the stairs. We didn't have any towels in the room and called to have some brought up to the room, after waiting 2 hours we went down to get them ourselves. Paid the extra for housekeeping and it was a waste. Lady didn't speak English and our room never got cleaned. Hot water only lasted 2 mins in the master bathroom, sprayer on the sink was broken, didn't have a very good selection on dishes or pots/pans. Our dryer didn't work at all! The bar at the pool was a joke. $10 for a drink that barely had any rum in it. Def won't stay here again but I guess it could have been worst. Room 508

Reasonable good apartments for long stay. Nice pool , bar, not great restaurants but you can cook food in you apartment. Very close to Disney parks

The place itself was nice. Clean rooms, and a nice pool area. However, my car got broken into our last night there. When I called the front desk they weren't helpful. Said they didn't have cameras and they sent the security guard to talk to me. He admitted that the resort has had an on going problem with people walking onto the property and breaking into cars. And he also admitted that they needed more security but the resort wouldn't hire anyone else. I love the fact that it was gated but what good does that do when anyone can just walk in?
