Went for afternoon tea; service was slow but it was a very busy day (weekend before Christmas) and we were in no hurry. Tea selection is good, very generous pots appropriate for sharing. I really liked that they had a children's tea.
Noisy during the busy times but the ambience is perfect otherwise. Not pricey for the quality on offer, excellent service, meticulous attention to detail. Have eaten here whenever in town for many years; never disappointed.
An extraordinary combination of luxury accommodations, attentive service, imaginative touches which enhance the experience plus a wonderful restaurant with a wide selection of menu choices, very well prepared at reasonable enough prices to make for great eating for even greater value. If there is a better tasting restaurant than the Green Valley Grill at their price point, we've not found it. Catch a Jazz session if you can or a theater package and stay overnight to be pampered. Greensboro should be very proud of the O'Henry and its adjacent restaurant. Highly recommended.
I didn't get a room, but the bar and dining area were amazing. The atmosphere was just dreamy and the people that waited on us were lovely. I will definitely consider staying at the hotel to check it out.
Beautiful hotel, great service, and fantastic food. My wife and I stayed a few days for a getaway and had a great time. The complimentary breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel I've stayed at and we travel a lot. The Green Valley Grill was great for both lunch and dinner, the food was excellent. We had tea one afternoon and had a wonderful time. The shopping across the street was also convenient.
Location was great. Food was great. Meeting space was great. If you're holding a professional conference for a reasonable (~50) amount of people, this venue is excellent.
I have eaten at the Green Valley several times but this is the first time that I attended a conference at the hotel. The room was phenomenal. Much roomier than some of the other places that I have attended. Noise levels were at a minimum. Most of the ones attended this meeting have the same feeling. I hope the conference is hosted here next year. The one thing that they could improve on is to get a brighter projector.
Good place to stay. Everything was clean. Water pressure was terrible at the place. Water pretty much ran down the side. Adjusted the setting, but still not any better. Plenty of parking spots. A lot of social events. Cool bar, breakfast is pretty good.
Awesome food and atmosphere. Live music every Thursday. Outdoor seating. An extremely comfortable bar. Varied menu. Might just be my first 5 Star rating.
The food was amazing. It was my first time reading at the Green Valley Grill and I was amazed. I felt bad ordering a hamburger at such a fancy restaurant, but it was one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. The truffle fries are killer, and the cheesecake and capuccino I had for dessert were great. I will definitely be back.
This hotel is amazing! The gorgeous decor, exceptional complimentary breakfast and outstanding customer service and attention to detail made for a first-class stay.
My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. Quiet and realaxing place with shopping right around the corner. Great place to eat downstairs (Green Valley Grill) so you don't have to leave to get a fabulous meal. Treat yourself to the lap of luxury and experience a wonderful getaway!
High tea was beautiful and classy. I felt like I was back in the 1930's. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will DEFINITELY be returning!!!
We went in for tea service. The atmosphere is gorgeous, service great, and the food is delicious. My only issue is portion size. Even in a setting like this, I'd expect more than a bite or two of each item for $17/person. All told, it's an excellent experience, but not one I'd be likely to repeat often.
We had a wonderful stay. Impeccably clean with the most wonderful bedding. Service was wonderful! I have never stayed in a hotel where the employees seemed genuinely pleased to be there until this stay. Everyone we met seemed proud and happy. Our family noted that several times. We were able to communicate in our own language with every employee we
