The hotel was okay for a very last minute booking. When we seen the name we thought it was going to be amazing on the inside for a good price. We were wrong. The hotel needs to be updated and remodeled.in our room we kept finding long pieces of hair in the bathroom and room! The front desk staff that we encountered were nice and friendly.
Nice building but poorly run
There were two tiny towels, no bath mat, and the pocket door to the bathroom had a broken pull, making opening and closing difficult.
Only curtain was a roller shade, so privacy was tough.
Wouldn't recommend this under current management.
This hotel is inexpensive but is also no frills. The heat in the room doesn't work well and the hallway smelled like skunk. The TVs are kind of crappy but at least you can plug a Roku stick in and connect to WiFi. The mattress needs replacement.
Upon arrival we quickly discovered our very aged room hadn’t been cleaned properly. The young man working was kind and moved us to a different room. We were gone for much of the following day and when we returned our room had not been touched. No clean towels or straightening of beds. Upon check out I told the front desk lady that our room hadn’t been cleaned and we had no towels. (The towels had to be used after showers to clean up the floor because the curtain wasn’t set up right, which we didn’t realize right away.) The front desk lady’s reply was - oh, well I didn’t know you changed rooms. When you changed rooms it wasn’t in the system so we didn’t know to clean your room. Then she went on to say - now get this - I was just discussing this with the cleaning people before you came down. Ummm - if they were just discussing it then they knew we changed rooms I wasn’t going to cause a scene - not my style - but I’ll never recommend them to anyone in the future. (I’m in the area regularly to visit family).
The elevator was out of order which was a bit of a hassle. The tubs are nice.
Probably one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. The first room they gave me smelled so bad I could barely stay in there for 5 minutes. The 2nd rooms sheets had stains on them so I sleep on top of the comforter. When I went to take a shower in the morning there was no hot water. I had to leave without a shower. The rooms are disgusting for almost $90 that I spent. The staff didn't care at all. I would never recommend or go there again. I tried to speak to a manger and they said he wasn't avaible. I shouldn't had to pay for this!
This is the loudest hotel at which I've ever stayed. The noise from the air traffic and road traffic kept me awake for most of the night, and the AC unit kept me up the rest of the night. Even on low it was ridiculously loud, so I turned it off and that's when I realized just how loud the traffic was. In addition, my allergies kicked in about 45 minutes into our stay and when I peered through the vent I immediately knew why; it was full of dust/mold (photo included). Upon looking around I discovered that we were provided with a stereo system (photos included), I can only assume that was to offset the outside noise. I also took photos o of other cleanliness issues as well as the disrepair issues that I noticed. Among these were a huge crack in the bathroom ceiling, some suspicious spots on the same ceiling, the carpet that is coming apart and in desperate need of repair, the dirt on the bathroom door that has clearly been there for years (I wiped a clean spot through it to show the contrast). Keep in mind that this is the Biltmore! They use thousands of the Biltmore tourist attraction in Asheville NC, but they can't put a few bucks back into their hotel? They of all people should know you have to spend money to make money.
It's not the most modern hotel, but the rooms are decent. The best was comfy and the hot tube was great. The man at the front desk was cheerful and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
The cleanliness of the rooms are not good, my rooms bathtub was chipping. The pillows are lumpy and cheap. The room also has a strange mildewy scent to it. I don't plan on coming back here.
Overall a very nice hotel, breskfast was subpar and a small selection. Everything else was very nice.
The price was great, staff was friendly. Room was big but needed some cosmetic updates. Would stay again.
Worst hotel ever. They were obviously trying to cover up s bsd odor with ten gallons of perfume in my one room. The hotel us dark, dank and very dated. Staff was pleasant.
If you look at the website the photographs make this place look like a luxury resort. Experience was it my room that more like a prison cell interior decorating theme a television that is about as old as I am actually I'm pretty sure in the new jail they get flat screens. It's clean so it's okay for a night, but im highly disappointed.
