I have stayed here in the past for bike week and enjoyed my stay. I called today to book a 6 month reservation. I was told that my 11 and 17 year old kids could not stay after my first 21 days. I explained that they would only be here for a few days around Christmas and then again a few days for Spring Break and they told me that they cant visit at all then. Very weird rule I don't understand this at all. I will not be going back under any circumstances.

Pretty and clean. Awesome pool, huge showers, grills, and a laundromat. The game room has pool, TV, and books. They have wifi, and some lots have cable hookups. The lots are a good size. I stayed for a few months and I loved it! It is quiet as long as there are no events going on. Would definitely go back.

We stayed for the holiday weekend. Check in was easy and the site was great. The restrooms are old but they were clean. The pool was well maintained and very refreshing after a day on the beach. I had a 30 amp site with good steady voltage(I constantly check my voltage meter) and very good water pressure. Cable TV and WIFI worked good to. There was always an employee out on the golf cart doing something. I had three small kids and two dogs, we did our thing, followed the rules and it was a great place to camp.

Checked in late in the evening. Conveniently could use the honor system when signing in. Found a nice level tent spot in the back row with no close neighbors but still pretty close walking distance to bathrooms. Set up our tent with the help of some bamboo near by that helped replace some missing tent poles. Overall a nice one night experience. Will have to come back for multiple nights!

Upon entering the campground, the lady in the office was completely rude. I attempted to be nice but, she had short comments and rolled her eyes at me. I noticed when a man came in , she was very pleasant and sweet to them. She even asked on, "How are you doing today?"
Our sites were very smallun-levela bit far from either bathroomand in complete sun. NO SHADE until the sun went down. When asked about another bigger/level site, that was close to the bathroom, she said the other sites were reserved however; there were several sites open right across from the the bathroom and had a canopy of trees. We stayed all weekend and no one filled those sites.

It appears this campground was probably a great place to go years ago. They have little cabins (similar to tiny homes or park models) as well as, little "tent cabins" . But, the campground doesn't appear to be kept up as well as it used to be. You can tell there are things in place for when it was a "happening" spot. Now, things appear runned down. The grounds keeper or maintenance guy rides around on the golf cart every few minutes or so. The pool was nice. I don't understand why the place looks the way it does when the maintenance man/grounds keeper is out and about all the time. There are a lot of "old" campers in that are full timers. They have LOTS of plants and junk on their site.

This would be a fantastic campground if it were cleaned up a bit and more friendly staff in the front. Plus, it's 10 min from Daytona Beach and the Speedway. IF I were to come back, I would request a site closer to the bathroom in the shade. But, that's a BIG IF due to the customer service in the front office/store.

My husband and I have been wintering here at Nova for the past two yearsWe have visited other campgrounds in this area and none of them compares to the charm that Nova has. Not only is it a beautiful place, you will find you will feel comfortable and safe here. The owners and staff are great. It's 10 minutes from all your needs and wantsshopping , restaurants, malls, theaters and one of the most famous beaches in Florida "Daytona Beach" I give this place a thumbs up See ya by the pool! Life is good here. God Bless.
