My grandma got robbed here. Horrible location.. right off the highway, so it's easy for people to commit crimes and get away so easily cause the highway is so accessible
I have stayed at this Hotel several times and I like the cleanliness and easy access to I-26 and Tanger Outlet as well as local venues.. I would stay at this Hotel again. The receptionists are always pleasant and the continental breakfast is great.
Looks nothing like the pictures at all. When we arrived, there were people sitting outside that appeared to be high on meth. Some looked homeless. When we walked in, there were things being said over a walkie talkie at the front desk that sounded like security was having an issue with tenants. This hotel (motel) cancelled our reservation because we didn't call to let them know that we would arrive after 3pm (their check-in time). We drove 4 hours to get there and they had no room for us because they gave our room to someone else and they didn't even call us to notify us. After arguing for 20 minutes with the girl working the front desk, she offered to put us in a room at a discounted rate. She just told us 10 minutes prior that there were no available rooms. I told her I wouldn't dream of giving that dump 1 dime of my money. We ended up staying at the Windym at Mt. Pleasant and it was an extremely pleasant experience. I'm so glad this dump cancelled our reservation. Definitely a blessing in disguise!
The employees I dealt with come highly recommended with me. Your rooms are outdated. Electric plugs that r in dire need of repair. They would fall out when plugged in. TV reception was from the 80's!!! The price that I paid for the room was not warranted!
Most important to me was that the bed was very comfortable! The a/c was great and wonderful water pressure in the shower! There is a beautiful pool area too, though I haven't gone swimming just yet.
Only problem that we ran into was that there were only 2 outlets available. The one didn't work at all and the other was older and our plugs for our chargers kept falling out.
Overall, I would stay here again! Definitely appreciate the reasonable prices too!
Shirt notice for rental still able to book room and check in was fabulous... Lobby was clean, room was comfy and welcoming. Actually had great water pressure and water stayed hot... Will definitely come back.. And price was cheap for being Holiday
We've stayed at 2-star hotels before and have never had any issues, but that was not the case here. The room was incredibly damp ( maybe because of the air conditioner), but the service was by far the worst part. We put the do not disturb sign on the door while we were gone for the day, and despite that, some of our towels had been taken and not replaced, and a couple of grocery bags we'd been planning to reuse had been thrown out. The man at the front desk just said, "Huh, that's weird." We had several prank/wrong number phone calls to the room. We decided to check out a day early and all the man at the desk said was "You know you'll still be charged, right". Also didn't bother with the breakfast as it was basically just bagels and cereal. Do not go here. They could care less about their guests.
The staff were nice. Very inexpensive. Very old. The TV didn't work well. The continental breakfast didn't have a wide variety. But if you need an inexpensive place to stay, it'll do.
Clean. No loud guests. Management solved the one problem we had with no qualms. It is near the Tanger Outlets and a few fast food places and restaurants. It is right off the interstate. Basically, it has a great location and was clean. Also! The water pressure was solid and the hot water was hot.
Pretty straight forward hotel stay for the price. We are ones to just need a place to lay our heads rather than put too much stock into the place we are staying. The North Charleston Inn was fairly pleasant. There is a new girl working up front that is nice as can be. Our room was clean. Wish there was a few more outlets we could use. Half the bulbs were out. We had to spend the fort 10 min plugging the lamps in and seeing which worked and which didn't. There is a lot of plane activity due to the he local airport that can get real loud sometimes. We loved how close the Inn was to everything though.
Looked at the pictures online and thought all would be okay. Well those pictures must have been from when the place was built. Looked like a sketchy place and so did the people hanging around it. Paid almost $200 for a room because I was there for the Cooper River Bridge Run, had I known I would have stayed the night in my car. It was so gross and there were bugs in the room. The first room we were in the air didn't work and smelled like a dead body. Had to fight to be put in another room. Please listen to me when I say...RUN!!!! I am not prissy and can tolerate a lot, but filth is not one of those things. Save your money and sleep in your car if this is the last place available in Charleston.
