My belongings were stolen today whilst I was working out. Asked the staff if they'd seen anyone with my colored bag and they said "no, sorry to hear that", without even asking if they could help me, even though there are cameras all over this gym. They wouldn't check the security footage for me, so what's the point of even having all the cameras?

I had no complaints with this gym until an employee by the name of Sidney accused my friend and I in the most rude way of one of us not having a membership and sneaking in! Even after I kept saying we did have a membership she said no we didn't and she was positive one of us was sneaking in. After I proved her wrong she didn't apologize and still continued to give us attitude! She should of asked not accused us and I would of easily cooperated in a more calmed manner, but her accusations were extremely disrespectful! I signed up a few months ago because I heard great things about MS though my employer since they came on site and we formed a discount partnership, but this employee really ruined it for me and now I am debating on canceling my membership and talking to my HR department about this issue. I have the family plan and have been on time with my payments only to be treated like this?!

Total thieves. We canceled our son's membership at the end of July, as he was leaving for college. We were told that we still had to pay for August, even though his last month's membership fee was covered when he joined--so it was prepaid. Fine, whatever, it's a hassle but who wants to fight over a one month membership fee? My husband confirmed that this meant the account was paid through the end of September, at which point it would be closed. Well, now they've continued to draft our account for August, September, and now October. EVERY MONTH my husband talks to Joyce and explains AGAIN that we have canceled the membership. Doesn't matter. I have a feeling we are going to be talking to her AGAIN next month.

Children's care is great! 100% video recording and live broadcast so you can see how your kids are doing while working out.
Clean functioning equipment all the time. Clean amenities that include steam room, sauna, showers lockers and towels.
Friendly staff. Never any issues.
Only con I would mention is showers do not have cold water.
All in all its a good place to get and or stay fit.response / report this review -

Showers have mold. Discussed it with the onsite manager TWICE (two days apart), on my next visit (two days later), mold is still on 3 of the 5 showers. They spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment, but no time cleaning the showers.

I love the gym and the staff. However I chose Mountainside specifically because every other location I have been to has been nothing short of superb.
I hate to complain, but this location is always very dirty. The woman's locker room has towels thrown about. The sauna smells like it has never been cleaned, and strongly of B.O. (granted people sweat in there, but its over powering) The floors and gym equipment are coated in sweat and grime. It just feels so dirty. Any other gym I have gone to, I have always seen a staff member wiping something down. At this gym I have never once seen any of the workers cleaning anything. I can't complain about their character and the vibe. I just wish it was a more sanitary place.
Yes I will rant and vent, and still give them my business. I just hope my feedback is of use to promote this locations success!response / report this review -

Love Mountainside Fitness in Mesa. The staff is always welcoming. They have all learned my families names and greet us by name every time we come in. We ❤ our morning staff!!

Such a friendly, family and community oriented gym! Never have I ever experienced such comfort in gym as I have here! Great amenities, and clean. I like that I can visibly see staff cleaning the equipment daily. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Nice facility and I love the yoga class here :) A little pricey but the children's center is top notch !!! My baby loves the play room. Makes working out easier when I can watch her on the TV screens on every treadmill.
