So irritating, we called in to let them know we were stuck in traffic and we would be 5-10 minutes late. I understand how important the schedule is, so I called ahead to let them know. I explained what our visit was for and I asked if we would still be ok to be seen and they assured me we were fine and to come on in. We walked in 7 minutes after the appointment time and they proceeded to tell me that we had to reschedule. This is so frustrating for those of us who are caring for our elderly parents and have a full time job, a family and 10 different doctors we are dealing with. It's hard enough to get time off to make so many appointments. I get that we were running late, but you should really get it together in the office and give the correct information when someone calls in. The worst part is, I've never waited less than an hour in the lobby when we are on time for an appointment. Very unprofessional

My wife has been going here, Tri City Cardiologist for High Blood Pressure. But they are one of many groups in the Heart Hospital. Plenty of parking & 5 floor's. Waiting rooms are large & they even have Public Use Computers in the Tri Cities waiting room & Large Screen TVs with real TV channel's for comfortable long waits. Also contains a Surgical Center & a Covered Cat Walk to the Main Banner Hospital. Very much Handicap Friendly on Parking including Valet Parking & A Shutter Service to the front entry from parking area.
**Entry is off Power Road, not Baywood.

Some great staff but the lack of knowledge by some is absurd.
I went back into rhythm and nurse, yes a nurse not assistant wanted to ask Dr. If they still wanted to do a cardioversion. Oh my God I'm back in rhythm why would they have to cardiovert me now ? Stupid! Not one of them knew that the rollaround stand to check your heart rate and pulse or the one they carry in their pocket to check your heart rate and oxygen neither one of those machines will work on a a fib patient and I told a few of them and all of them were argumentative about it.
Tried telling me my heart rate was 54 when in fact it was going from 110 to 140 Again just stupid . I have been there seven times not one of them know how to remove a bandage the bandage has holes all over the top of it to rub adhesive remover on it and it will slide right off but they still want to try to use alcohol and tear it off of your arm no one is informed how to use new medical supplies Again I try to tell them each time but it is again to be argumentative as everybody knows everything. Very scary to be so uneducated and working in the heart department . and again asked at 3:30 in the morning to get out of bed so they can wiegh me I have been in the hospital 18 times in my life and I have never ever heard of such a thing and again argumentative because I will not get out of bed at 3:30 in the morning for them to wiegh me, again very stupid people. Both my arms are bruised from having them to put in not one not two but three IVs because they will not get the ultrasound machine to properly insert the IV. I wish I could post pictures as both of my arms are swollen from being filled with medication because they missed the vein or backs back out of the van because they do not properly know how to do it or they are just too proud to get someone else or the ultrasound machine it seems to me the patients are not first at banner fart and God for bid if they clean up after themselves or wash their hands when they enter your room

Kept my grandfather overnight but couldn't tell us what happened at first said minor heart attack but he didn't have any symptoms of a heart attack. Gave us a bunch of info that contacted what mayo says and what our cardiologist said. Oh also refused to let our cardiologist check on him. Worst hospital ever. I will NEVER go there again. They don't know what they are doing. They just wanted our money. He was finally admitted at 9pm after being there for 12hrs in the ER. They still couldn't tell us what happened.

Brought my mom in for chest pain, apparently not an emergency since they gave us a card with a letter on it and told us to have a seat.
25 minutes later we got to do the financial stuff.. 35 minutes later finally am EKG! Now here we are in the waiting room (still, over an hour) waiting to hear something.. anything

I like every aspect of Banner Baywood Hospital and Heart Hospital. The nursing staff is attentive, kind and respectful. The accommodations are first rate. Members of the cleaning crew are friendly and they keep the place sparkling clean. And I can't walk through the halls without having at least 1 hospital employee look me in the eye and say 'hello.' Most importantly, this hospital has/is treated/treating my dad well and for that I'm grateful.

WOW, Competent, Caring Staff, and Very Sudden Service. They exceeded all of our expectations. This will be my Heart Hospital. Calm, Quiet Atmoshere, My wife compared it to a trip to a library. All of my tests were done one after another with little or no waiting. I had extensive tests and a diagnosis within 3 Hours.Thank You
