I am a retired RN and know what excellent health care is. I have had two knee surgeries, one inpatient and one outpatient at this hospital Both times I was treated with respect, questions answered, physical care was superb, wait times were reasonable, everyone involved with my care was caring and Dr. Lombardi is the best orthopedic surgeon I know.

This review is for the lab and blood work. The first time I went the lady was gruff and it was a rough stick and painful process (and I get labs done all the time). The second time no one could figure out the codes for what seems like routine labs. I went back twice because they forgot to draw a vial. Today I receive a call that they STILL didn't get it all and the lady was extremely rude when I said it is not convenient to come back a THIRD time. Will never return. Every other C-bus lab has been delightful.

I've had two knee replacements and rotator cuff surgeries at Mount Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital. The care &, treatment were great each time. I love this hospital.

Here with my mother.nurses are excellent.briana and sarah are top notch. Techs are lazy. Been here several days and never even offered to get her washed up. Have asked for towels and wash cloths 4two days in a row. Physical therapy pushes beyond limits just to get people discharged. Have to make it 150 ft one time then patient is discharged. No working with them beyond doing it once at the patients expense to meet the hospitals guidelines and then they could care less because it looks good in the reports.

Had a bad experience here, I went in for hip surgery & I came out with 2 black eyes. Make sure there is a nurse in front of you when you get your spinal.

Had my knee replaced and staff worked really well with me, but my Dr., Dr. Gittons. gave me medicine I told him I was allergic to, went to out patient therapy Zanesville Oh, first was not going to take me due to side effects of Meds given to me right before I left the hospital. Hospital gave me what I could take. Therapy was ruff broke open my knee had a hole in it, ended up with mersa. Have to have my right one done but think I'll switch to Dr. Lombardi. Hospital was great and had a place where spouse could stay with you.

Great place to have a knee replacement. The room was spotless when my boyfriend came to his room from surgery. The nurses were very understanding and tried to make him as comfortable as possible, they had him up right after he had surgery and the next day he was able to get up and down stairs. What a wonderful place. Thank you.
