Avoid this ER if you have any choice at all. Overcrowded wait room and unfeeling staff. Showed me to a bed covered with urine and blood stains and then cleaned it up in front of me. Denied access to a doctor or specialist or even the results of my scan beyond a few typed words, then wouldn't send to my specialist after either. When I was leaving, security was threatening a woman with a broken foot who was trying to get help to get home because the social worker had given her a bus pass, with a broken foot

Have always had wonderful treatment every time I've been for myself or a family member. Not just the ER but also the surgery center and physical therapy could not have been better.

This hospital has its ups and downs but for the most part it is a good hospital. They usually treat my family well. My mother passed away there and they were very supportive. They can work harder at customer service and focus on improving the hospital experience.

Every single time that I have been to this Hospital, whether it be for myself or for someone I know, it has been a very negative and horrible experience. The doctors and nurses have minimum bedside manner and make you feel like you are nothing but a hypochondriac. I will never recommend this Hospital to anyone!!

Will not go back here unless I am unconscious. Came here with pneumonia, barely able to breathe and the front desk receptionist was so disgusted with my coughing she tossed a mask at me and started spraying her desk with disinfectant. She placed me in a room where they left me for several hours. Some woman came in about three hours later, asked a couple of questions and left again. I demanded my wife take me to St. Ann's where they had me admitted and in a room within 15 minutes of arriving. I give 2 stars because they have have top notch facilities, but what good does it do if you never get access to them? In my opinion this is the worst hospital in Columbus. My wife was admitted by squad a couple of years ago. I wanted the paramedic to take her to St. Ann's but he convinced me that Mt. Carmel was a good hospital. Upon admitting her, the paramedic talked to the nurses upon our arrival. They treated us pretty good that night. However, after the shift change I guess we were nobodies again because it was back to the same crappy service. Discharge consisted of handing us some paperwork and walking away. I had to figure out they were discharging her by reading the paperwork. This is the treatment i got with top notch insurance. I can only imagine how they treat the uninsured. I have learned my lesson. I will not go back to this hospital of my own free will and i pray that if I am unconscious someone will have the presence of mind to take me somewhere else.

I have no words for this hospital. West licking fire brought my uncle in around 9 pm and at 11:45 had no record of him being there at all. He gets very confused his sugar is up, and we are being told he is not there that is a HUGE problem. So I ask where is my uncle at? I was told by the er staff no one was brought in for sugar problems that I needed to call another hospital to find him. Do people really not care any more. I guess so. If I need to call all these different hospitals and none had a record of him. West Licking said they picked him up and took him to Mt. Carmel East er. So I all who is lying?
