Room and bathroom were clean but furniture and fittings were very old fashioned. The un-hygienic carpeting ought to be ripped up and replaced with laminate. It's time to upgrade to the new-style Motel 6s.

Nice big rooms, plenty of tv channels, comfy beds. The check in was fast. This is my second time here.

Clean rooms and very pleasant staff. Everything was pretty much updated and looked very nice. Price was also very good. Definitely got a lot of bang for the buck here. I would definitely stay again.

We know Motel 6 is upgrading their rooms and therefore different motels are in different stages of updating but some things are not dependent on the upgrade. The Chambersburg motel's rooms are in different stages of the upgrade but if I reserve a non smoking room I don't expect the room to reek of cigarette smoke. Our room had nice furniture, bath, and paint job but still had the old carpeting and the room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. At least if you offer a non smoking room, be sure it doesn't smell like a smoker's lounge.
We're devoted to Motel 6 because of your policy of accepting dogs and offering the new updated rooms with the non carpeted floors. We will continue to use Motel 6 but please, if your customer asks for a non smoker's room, please provide it.
Thanks and we'll see you again.

The door was so crooked you could see into the hallway. Bedroom furniture had visible stains all over. Desk chair arm rails ripped off. Paper thin walls. Upon returning to the room, house keeping left the exhaust fan on (which didn’t exhaust properly) to cover the smell of vomit which permeated the room. I can only assume that the housekeeper became ill and committed in my bathroom as the smell coming
From the bathroom sink was putrid and the floor was still sticky. Also the entry light bulb to the room was burnt out or not working. Hallway smelled like cigarettes all the time and bath towels did not appear to be clean as they had hair and other stains. Bath tub didn’t drain water very well. The night I checked in, I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive at the desk from outside to check me into my room. I used the lobby restroom while I waited which had a horrible body odor smell and looked as if it had been a long time since it had been properly cleaned.

It's a nice place but be sure to ask for a room up close to the front. Because of their location back a long drive sometimes they have had some people trying to sell drugs there. The staff is really nice and they accepted all my animals After my neighbor's grease fire burn down my house. They do have more roaming police presence there now. It's not fancy but it will work.

Location was great it is located right of the highway. The front staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The hotel overall is definitely in need of updating. You definitely are not paying much to stay there and if it is only for one night stop over I would stay again.

The hotel is in serious need of updating. Carpets in hallways are worn out. Paint/ wallpaper needs redone. Room was in better shape then the hallways but still needing updated. Was given the opportunity to choose between 2 rooms and chose the room that was in better condition. The light above the whirlpool tub wasn't working and informed the front dest of the issue when making my choice on the room. He informed me that it would be fixed while we were out for a few hours. It was not fixed and no reason was given for not being fixed. Had to ask the morning front desk attendant twice to refill the coffee dispenser. Overall the room was in decent shape though.

We loved the accommodations; the size of the room and the amenities were great. However, the room was dirty. The floor was not vacuumed well; we found pills on the floor, and the bathroom floor was sticky and covered in footprints. If we pass through again, we will choose this hotel because of the size of the room and the comfy seating that was provided in-room so we didn't have to watch TV from bed. The pool looked clean and inviting, but we did not have proper attire for swimming. Staff was very courteous. Location was very nice; close to highway, food, and gas.

Check in staff was nice, we were not given the rooms that I originally booked so was not to happy about that. The rooms we were given were sufficient and we checked in. As we were turning in for bed I found a flying black bug under the covers, my husband took it to the front desk also because the bed linen was still damp and the guy at the front desk was very apologetic and gave us a different room a upgraded room a double queen size suite for no extra. It was really nice. So all in all we had a good stay.

It was a pretty good stay. The rooms were clean and stocked, staff was friendly and helpful. The one bad thing was there were a bunch of migrant workers living there that would prop the security doors to the outside open. Dryer runs to hot - burnt clothes. At least I felt somewhat safe there.

Hotel really needs to be updated.
Ordered two double beds non smoking room.
got there, and the room wreaked of cigarettes.
the guy at the front desk helped me into another room, and walked us there to check it out himself, and it was better. none of the stars are for the actual hotel all three stars go STRAIGHT to the African American guy at the front desk for his hospitality and customer service. don't lose him, he's a real gem!

Very surprised by this Motel 6 - nicest one in which I've stayed. My room was very large with a comfortable king size bed. A second king would have fit in the room easily. The desk clerk was professional and friendly.
This was a spur-of-the-moment "drive safe" stop on the way from Texas to Philadelphia. Traveling with a dog limits options but this was a lucky find and will definitely be where I stay in the area from now on.

The room was clean and the halls were quiet. The room had a fridge and microwave which was a plus. The beds were well made and clean. The bathtub was slightly dirty but wasnt terrifying. Overall, for the price you can't go wrong with Motel 6.
