This place is gorgeous both inside and out. There's a lot of character. My wife's friend had her bridal shower here. I don't know how much anything cost, but it looks really nice inside. I'm not positive, but I think the owner was working, which makes it seem like he's really invested in making things run smoothly. The view out back is glorious: you walk out on to a 30' cliff overlooking a creek and some woods. Just nature. It's very calming.

A beautiful inn with original woodwork and pretty stream running behind it. The back patio overlooking the stream is a great place to relax or get together.

I attended a wedding at the Inn. The house and grounds we're gorgeous and a beautiful place to have a wedding. All of the rooms are large and have their own bathrooms. Everything we could have needed was supplied for us which was fantastic as we didn't have to bring all of our necessities. I had an all around fantastic visit except for the Inn Keeper. They we're ALWAYS around just staring and we constantly felt like we were being rushed to finish up or clean up. Then I finally needed the Inn Keeper for sheets on a pull out bed which they should have supplied in one of the various closets, and they were no where to be found. The venue itself is wonderful but keep the In Keepers in mind when booking a visit.

Nice placebeautiful old woodwork and tons of character. We were here for a wedding and while it was beautiful, the owners hovered awkwardly the entire time, and didn't even provide basic assistance with cleaning up, etc. while doing so. They were very worried about closing doors quickly to keep heat in, not scratching the floors, etc. Women weren't even allowed to wear heels due to the wood floors. All in all I see the appeal, but I heard a few of the family comment about the staff's behavior so it wasn't just me. Maybe they're better when it's not a large-group function, but they certainly had an uptight vibe about them.

A wonderful stay with wonderful hosts! The breakfasts served in the mornings were amazing! We were close to Gettysburg as well as the Caledonia State Park. Had a very enjoyable stay!

This house and grounds are beautiful!!! The owners are a great host and hostess. They make you feel at home in their home and are knowledgeable about the rich history of the home. Breakfast is homemade and great with a special blend coffee that the owner came up with.

Unfortunately I was injured due to my stay. The ceilings are very low in some places and I hit my brow on one of the beams (that sticks out over the bed in a couple of the cheap rooms) in the old servants quarters. I had a painful welt and developed a black eye for 2 weeks. Those rooms should not be used for guests 5ft. 8in. and taller and they should have padding on the hazards. In addition in the shower there was a dangerous situation with sharp screws pointing toward the tub. Someone who fell on them or grazed them would sustain potentially serious injuries. It is too bad because this is a nice inn with pleasant guests and hosts but this had to be reported. SEE PICTURES.

Gorgeous building and property! Our room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious and they even had an award-winning pianist play one of the evenings.

Beautiful building and grounds; lovely spacious 3rd floor room (the Kennedy Room) - clean, nicely appointed. Looking forward to breakfast and to exploring the grounds. So far, more than just "so good". Will add a final note, tomorrow.

Honeymoon suite was incredible. Can't beat that bathtub. Grounds were beautiful and well maintained, breakfast was perfect and I couldn't think of a better way to start the day. And lastly, the owners Ken and Barb were very nice. Thinking of having my wedding there

The Inn at Ragged Edge is a fabulous bed-and-breakfast! It's a beautiful home with a rich history. Most of the home is exactly as it was when it was built in 1900. The owners Ken and Barb are wonderful people. They are very friendly and down-to-earth and take good care of their guests. My room was huge, as well as my bathroom, and I had all the privacy I needed. It had a large comfortable front porch with lots of chairs for relaxing. Large trees surround the house and there actually is a river in the back. Looking out the back window the view is just stunning! I slept well and enjoyed my breakfast the next morning talking with Ken and Barb. I was just traveling through but I can't wait to bring my wife here on vacation!

We took some pictures here before prom. It was a beautiful place with a really relaxing atmosphere. The owners were very nice. I'm sure it would be a great place to stay the night.
