Location to airport is good, hotel front desk staff very impersonal to the point of being rude. Hallways and elevators stink.
Nice hotel. Good price. I loved that they had free parking. The room was not quite done when we checked in but they fixed it quickly.
Location looks sweet but it's close to the airport. Rooms were clean, not much to complain about. Service was good.
I would not stay here on a normal occasion. However being stranded due to weather I had no choice. The room is adequate as it meets your needs. But it could be updated a bit. The carpets need to be deep cleaned. The television is an LG flat but it takes a few seconds for the channels to sync on. The restaurant is not really a restaurant. The food tastes like its precooked and heated. I don't think there is a chef or plain cook on duty. I really don't believe it's worth the price. Some people paid $156 or better. I got my room at $101. But it really should cost no more than $75-$80. Again, it wouldn't be my first choice.
Also, it's called Wyndham Airport but it a little distance away. Took about 10 mins or so to get here.
Great experience! After checking out I went to my car to find a flat tire. I went back inside and not only did they find a place to get the repair, but they also took me there and brought me back. Free! This was also a Sat morning! Above and beyond!
This hotel had a very competitive rate. However, there are many more cons than pros and that's never good.
Pros:
Close to airport
Affordable
Cons:
Beds are terribly uncomfortable and I prefer very firm mattresses. You can feel the springsnot good.
Weird fees - $50/per security hold?? $25 early check-in fee & $50 early check-out fee. That's just strange. I travel 100% for work and have never had to deal with these fees from coast to coast.
No way to heat your food - no microwaves in room or lobby. Kitchen won't do it for you either.
In other notes, I didn't list this as a con because I hope it was unique to my experience but when I first checked in I was given a room with a person in it. Anyway, that's everything.
Located far enough out where you don't pay for parking like anywhere downtown, but a comfortable driving distance to anything in Philadelphia. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. Another person in my party had an issue with their room but did not disclose with me what that issue was. Did not disrupt their sleep.
Arrived around midnight last night. Booked this hotel because of the reviews. My actual rating is 2 stars; everything was neat, clean and in it's place. However, the whole first floor where my room was located smelled like damp towels. In my room the a.c. was pushing air that smelled the same. As if the unit was old and rusted inside. Furniture had doors that wouldn't close and the wallpaper was peeling. Cosmetic stuff, but it just tells me the place has been around for a while. Gave an extra star because front desk was friendly and professional during check-in and out. Only paid 100 bucks for the room so I guess I got what I paid for.
This is a decent place at a decent price. The bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable, but the room was surprisingly big. The restaurant connected to the hotel was really bad. They charged us a service fee which was really weird, like it seems like that's the fee you would pay if you got room service. The food was okay but expensive and the service was slow.
While we were there the pool was out of order. When we went out to the pool the door locked behind us and we couldn't get back in the building and had to walk all the way around to the front entrance. Would have rated this place 5 stars, but the shuttle to and from the airport was really nice. Fast drive and friendly driver. He dropped us off right at our car when driving us back from the airport.
I enjoy my time Great customer service Very accommodating Room service was excellent I will definitely return. All smiles 😃 Plus loved going to the pool.
The hotel is a hotel. It's as good as can be expected for a non luxury hotel. Staff, however, is incredibly helpful and friendly. Due to that alone, I recommend it. The location isn't bad(good for driving to/from though), but it's not close to many things.
Definitely a hotel in need of updating but room was clean and beds decently comfortable. Shuttle was slow to arrive (40 minutes after calling) on way in but was prompt to depart at 3:30 am when we needed it. Staff on phone and at hotel were helpful enough to get the job done but nothing more.
Very nice rooms, spacious bathrooms, very clean and the beds are super comfortable. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel, very good food. The only downside is they don't seem to have a coffee station readily available, although each room does Ave a coffee maker.
The hotel was fantastic. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The room was clean. And even though cleaning service wasn't used during our stay they made sure we were all set in anything we needed. And it was a pretty convenient location for not needing the airport and just visiting philidelphia. I would stay here again for sure.
The staff were all very friendly. The airport shuttle was convenient and quick, just give them a call. They let me check out at 6 for my late flight. I was staying here as airport accommodation, so my rate was reasonable. There is a Denny's (24 hours) next door so it's great if you're getting in late.
I found it strange that all the lights in the room were on when I arrived, and the toilet handle was hung up, running continuously. This place could use a little tlc, but it's good overall.
