Stayed in early April '18.
This hotel has the face of a newer location but the bones of an older one.
Pros:
- Recently refurbished
- Decent TV channels
- Friendly and helpful staff
Cons
- You will likely hear the highway all night depending on room location. Walls are paper thin and you will hear kids screaming, doors closing, and every single truck driving by.
- Awful WiFi. Worst I've ever experienced at a hotel. It's constantly disconnecting, about every 5-10 minutes, but when you are connected, it's very slow and often unresponsive. You have to force it to reconnect each time.
- TVs are newer but automatically adjust their brightness non stop. You can't turn this off.
- Pullout sofa bed is short and uncomfortable.response / report this review -

Great staff, Anna, Damian , all made my stay pleasant. Property finishing upgrades but nothing that disturbed the guests. Place is well maintained. Maintenance guy works like the energizer bunny. It's my favorite hotel

Right off the interstate, friendly staff, good complementary breakfast. Tried to reserve a king room, got cut off during the call and ended up having to get two doubles. Pleasantly surprised to have a king two room for the same price!

Excellent service, very clean, nice complimentary breakfast. Coffee fresh and hot. Nice selection of pastries plus jot eggs sausages , pancakes and more. Checkout was a breeze. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel is nice. The water prezsure eas good and water is hot. Faces the hiway.
People that work there are weird. There was a tip bucket for an amenity you pay for. The folks at the front desk have a "flat" attitude. The pool area was clean, yet smelled badly.response / report this review -

I can't think of anything I would do to improve my experience at this La Quinta. This location, being brand new, was superb in both looks, feel, and upkeep. The staff was very friendly and the room was immaculate. Having second thoughts after staying in a La Quinta in Wytheville, VA (due to the poor upkeep, and gross state of cleanliness), and Niagra Falls, NY (a real pit, probably would have been cleaner at a motel 6) this La Quinta was a real 180 and a great value. Even the pet areas were clean and always had poop bags and empty trash cans. Thanks to the owner of this location for keeping it looking great and the employees for taking ownership in their hotel. Definitely recommend, even if you aren't traveling with a pet.

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast included eggs, sausage and bacon besides the waffles and cereal. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants were close by and there were safe areas to walk. Would definitely stay there again. The only drawback was a little road noise.

Never stayed at a Later Quinta before, and I was pleasantly surprised. This one is newly updated and very clean. Full hot breakfast and a really nice gym with weights. It is also dog friendly, I saw large and small breeds while staying. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Staff was courteous on check in. I had my 1 year old dog to check in. i normally like staying at La Quinta Inn.
The room was noisy facing 81. Normally you may hear a little traffic, but it was very loud. The door entrance did not close fully, and light came in from the sides, top and bottom. I could hear everything in the hall. The trim wasn't installed very well around the room. Apparently, this hotel had a fire and they rebuilt on the site. It was a very poor structurally sound building.
At the end i was billed about $170 for one night. That was very outrageous. i am currently staying at the La Quinta in Winston Salem North Carolina for $80 and $75 (about) for two nights. I feel ripped off now, and may have to look into a new hotel chain to use.

Awesome hotel!. On my way to it right now and am super excited as we always stay here when I stay in Chambersberg. Saw some complaints about customer service but I hope it's nice as it used to be as I haven't stayed here a long time, even before the fire to be exact. Anyways I give it a 10/10 from prior experiences

This LA Quinta was AMAZING! The room was clean, the bathroom was beautiful and over it was a great experience. Very pet friendly, but bit more grass could be nice and it was lit up very good at night for those midnight potty breaks.

This was a beautiful place. The bed was very comfortable. It has a heated indoor pool and workout room. Computers with internet access and a printer in the lobby for guests to use. The only thing we had an issue with, not enough parking.
