I love motel 6 ,
However the desk clerk was incredibly rude. She said that Californians are
Ruining Arizona. That they are coming here in droves and every year it's more and more and they are bringing their crime and
Politics and driving up cost of
Living. She said that she had just arrived and that we had to wait which was fine but her tone
Of voice was more than unpleasant. We asked for a downstaires room she gave us upstairs accommodations. She did not say have a nice stay or call if you need anything. I felt unwelcome the room was fine. I hope my remarks were helpful

This is one of the nicests Motel 6s I've stayed at and the location was fabulous. Clean, well maintained facility, hot tub by the pool was a big plus (especially after a backpacking trip). Able to walk to restaurants and other attractions in Scottsdale. I felt very safe in this neighborhood. Front lobby staff was very friendly, especially to my Standard Poodle.

The rooms look nice and have enough space for a quick stay. There is a very nice pool and hot tub (outdoors). This hotel claims to be non-smoking, however every one of the 4 rooms I have entered smell strongly of cigarettes and no air fresheners are used. Arizona is a dry climate, yet at any time of year when I have stayed, the rooms felt musty and poorly ventilated. During this particular stay, the front desk staff seemed defensive and anxious to put the blame on me when I came back to change rooms because I had requested a room with a fridge and microwave when I booked. They made a really big deal of it, only to find out that it was simply a matter of paying $3 more per night. It was like they were sure that I was going to demand the room for no difference in cost, so they were gearing up for a battle. Even if I had had a problem with the difference, it seems like a lot of angst for $9 for a 3 night stay.

Very clean and updated basic hotel room. Great mid century modern decor for the price. No coffee in the room but at the front desk. Very pleased for the price but that price reflected the lack of some amenitiesshampoo, conditioner and blow dryer were the only things I missed, but the front desk accommodated me with those.

Nice place to stay in Scottsdale, with reasonable price that we can afford. We have stayed at a number of Motel 6's over the last few years, and this one is one of the best maintained, and the staff was also very nice. But all of the Motel 6's that we have stayed at had the same problem - dirty floors. A simple mopping occasionally would do a lot to get a better rating.

The exterior and interior look fairly well maintained, but the room, mostly the floor needed to be cleaned better. there was hair on my sink.
Each day when i came back from to my room, my key would not work and had to go back to the office to have the key redone. the second time i told the front desk and told her that, there was no reaction or apologies or any comments, she just redid the key.

The offer is low, as well as the price.
Definitely missing a fridge!
the room is too little up to the point that one of the beds touches the air conditioning. And there is no room to open wide a suitcase!
Not the best hotel experience, but definitely the cheapest.

After a continuous 5-day stay, we didn't deserve to be treated like criminals just because we couldn't come up with the funds to pay for one more night. Humility, compassion and understanding were certainly not at play as the front office staff kicked us out. I was assured we would have a little extra time to collect the remaining amount, yet while at work, my domestic partner was rustled out of bed and threatened to leave, otherwise our belongings would be thrown out on the street and the police would be summoned. Genuine disrespect for our patronage was demonstrated at our most difficult and challenging moment.

This place is horrible!! Drove all the way for nothing, "Joy" was her name. Some older tan skinned lady, but was extremely lazy on the phone couldn't even answer a simple question when I asked if my reservation was available for the check in time she stated "i was able to check in at 6 with my reservation" I come there and she says she'll be ready and to come back in 20 minutes. I come back and she's with some bigger black lady that's from the jump getting a snotty attitude it was disgusting. I had to pull out my phone to record. They said my room wasn't available, and when I said that the older lady joy told me that my room would be available, she lied to my face and came out with a completely different story it was too funny to deal with that early in the morning 😂 anyways!!! To make the heat a little better, I was calm and angry as a disappointed customer would be, and so I told them this is ridiculous, and tell me why they didn't like that I wasn't happy therefore they were furious they didn't try to help, they started yelling at the top of their lungs. Both of them so unprofessional! They definitely made the absolute worst name for themselves. Straight discust

I have stayed at this Motel 6 for many years. I love your new upgraded rooms, the location cannot be beat, the price in a tourist area is wonderful but this last stay is why I gave it an average rating. My room was clean and everything worked well but when I turned the bed down, there was a stain on the sheet or so I thought. Instead it was a blood stain on the mattress pad that showed thru the sheet. It was so obvious that the maid had to have seen it and ignored it. At first I was just going to sleep on the other side of the bed but changed my mind and asked for a different room. It was gladly provided but no one ever said "I'm so sorry" or anything to that effect. It meant several trips to the office since the new key didn't work and then moving my belongings. No help was offered either. All this has caused me to reconsider staying here in the future whereas before I would tell all my friends about your jewel of a hotel. This episode also makes me wonder about the rest of the cleanliness of the room. All because a maid ignored a blood stain on the mattress pad!

The refrigerator was noisy, and interfered with sleep.
The phone was nonfunctional, preventing me from getting a wake up call. This prevented good sleep since my personal alarm was starting to fail. The sink was too small for the faucet, and one couldn't wash easily or shave easily in the morning.
I brought up the problems regarding the refrigerator, and the phone but just got 'looks' from two of the front office personnel. I was told nothing about if or when the problems would be addressed.
I will never stay at a Motel 6 in future.
If the choice was less than one star, I would choose it.

Good value for the price. Location is great with easy access to the best parts of Scottsdale. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Pool is also nicely kept and attractive. Better than most low budget motels.

If you want to be in the heart of Scottsdale, right next door to Fashion Square and Old Town, this is it! And it was quiet! Within minutes, you can be at your favorite restaurant, coffee shop, retail store or baseball park. Although "frill-free", the room was up-to-date and comfortable. The front desk people were extremely friendly and helpful. If you didn't think to bring your own hair dryer and shampoo, they will make certain that you have what you need. Parking was ample.

We Love this place!
Extremely well maintained with a staff eager to make certain you enjoy your stay.
A special occasion at the restaurant was created by Terry (server and our special dinner coordinator) and to Wes (chef) for creating our outstanding dinners.
The entire staff that assisted us from the front desk, van drivers to room staff has our thanks for making our stay so memorable!
This will always be our home away from home while here in Scottsdale!

The room in the Motel6-Scottsdale was very clean and adequate for an overnight stay. The bedding was clean, but the mattresses are needing replacement. The sink was adequate, but no tissue dispenser or tissue paper was provided. The towels were clean and nicely arraigned, but were small for bath towels. The walls of the Motel were quite thin and transmitted noise so we could hear other guests talking and "doing stuff" most of the night. The location is excellent, being next to the Mall, near downtown Scottsdale. Also, there was a Pancake House immediately adjacent to the Motel for breakfast (the motel only provided coffee in the small lobby in the morning). The price was outstanding for the location.
