The staff is always friendly. Patrick is great, he always remembers me and treats me like I'm valued there.
I've stayed in worse places, but not many - and I can't recall any of them. This place was beyond terrible. The heater did not get very hot. Set it on 78 and it was maybe 65 in the room. The hot water did not get hot. I had to take luke-warm showers. This is not the hotel for you if you enjoy not being cold. If that weren't enough, you can hear every noise that comes from the room next to you. One night the occupants decided to watch TV all night at a very loud volume. Two other nights, two different couples decided to engage in coitus. It's impossible to sleep through the slapping and the moaning and the banging. I know they were different couples because the names shouted in the heat of passion were different each night. So, this is not the hotel for you if you desire to sleep either. I did try to complain to the manager, but she was busy having lunch (in the next room) and could not be bothered to hear my complaint. I was also informed that one of the main reasons people come to motels is to conjugate. Silly me. I was there to sleep. I suggested better soundproofing and the front desk clerk shrugged and said: "this is Motel 6". It was suggested that I could change rooms, but also noted that I might have the same problem in the new room, as people only come to motels to conjugate. Not only was my stay horrible, but the customer service, or gross lack thereof, that I received was abysmal. I left a day early to go elsewhere and get some sleep and I also cancelled a future reservation I had at this same property. Never again will I stay here.
This place is soooo much better than the one down the street. The painting is well done, the room is clean, and the walls don't have holes in them. For pricing, the rooms at this one are cheaper than the other one, but the wifi isn't free. Stay at this motel 6 and forget the other one. Their pool is even still usable later in the season.
Check In/Out was fast and simple. Although the room was very clean, the motel did not have simple amenities such as an iron in the room. It was such a hassle to go to the front desk in order to "check out" an iron and ironing board each time that I needed it. The location was convenient and very affordable. I was here on business.
Had a 15 hour lay over from DFW International. For what I paid, I can't complain--everything else advertised in this price range had very bad reviews online, and generally got the impression it would be unclean, and have issues with crime. I liked this place, and the security patrolling the place constantly made me feel safe. However, there isn't much of anything in the area, which is a problem if you don't have a car--but there isn't much you can do about that.
the employees there didn't seem like they cared what the customer wants or needs. everybody there seems to have an attitude when u asked for something. I will never stay at this motel 6 again. also I had athe security guard give me a warning ticket on my car for parking in a handicap space when it clearly was not. my family and I are very disappointed with the experience we had. good customer service goes a long way with me. this motel needs to fire everybody and start fresh with new people and new attitudes.
location is good, close to highway and not far from the grocery
not a clean room at all, not sure if somebody cleaned it in 2017, some ants in the room, though stayed on a second floor. very noisy, but i suspected this when booking, as highway is 100-200 feet away from the hotel. smell of cigarettes everywhere - air conditioning, pillows. bath is very small, no toiletries other than a piece of soap. few towels, not enough for 3 of us.
first of all, several of the lights in the room could not be turned on because the bulbs were burned out. It was designated a non-smoking room. However, the room still smelled like smoke and they're were ashes in the ashtray. The toilet did not flush or work right, with each flush. But worked some anyway. There was a cigarette burn on the remote control for the TV. It was disgusting. The property did not carry or have in stock bottled water. The vending machine was out. The lady at the front desk was kind enough to give me a bottle of water. Thank you. The next morning they're were little bugs 🐜 That greeted me on the floor. I am also very disappointed that there is no coffee not only in the room, but in the total property itself. There is no coffee anywhere on the property. The front door had a huge gap in it, where light would shine through vividly. Thanks, that's all I have. Good luck
The staff was very nice .. the room probably has never been vacuumed there was pee on the toilet , towels were stained and old ,the tv was not a flat screen as advertised it was small and the type you have to hit to get the channel to come in .. no microwave.. not even in the office there was a homeless man sleeping out back look like he was dead for two days .. there are a lot of restaurants near it so that was a plus and a gas station right out back walking distance which is nice they allowed me to use their microwave since apparently this motel 6 is stuck in the 70's .. housekeeping came every day and were polite .. early in the week was quiet but by Thursday it got loud and ghetto people hanging out in the parking lot and the lot lizards in and out of the semi truck parked out back oh and the small table placed in the center of the floor the hide the poop on the carpet .. classy
I tried to give NO STARS but it made me pick a star .. so .. NO STARS !!!!
The room was clean, neat, and comfortable. It had the basic essentials: clean bed, one each bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth, and small soap. Everything was functional. For the price we paid, it met out needs.
The construction made it very difficult to get to the motel. My GPS directed us to a cross over bridge which had recently been torn down. So we had to come up with an alternate route to reach the motel. Hopefully this will be temporary.
I am an Air Force Veteran and my stay was very unsatisfying. During a shower I was taking the water was cut off in the middle of it. That happened not only once bit twice to me within the same week. I would have appreciated a heads up from the office informing me that the water will be off temporarily. Also I checked into a room with toilet that was overflowing from the bathroom almost to the bed.
If you enjoy hearing gun/killing threats outside your room then this is the place for you! The customer service really wasn't bad, our room was tiny, but clean. However I do not recommend this motel for the unsafeness we felt in the 2 hours we were there. Not a nice part of town, very trashy, sketchy feeling. We did get our money back though, thanks to Expedia, not this motel.
When I entered the office to check in, the customer service was warm and welcoming. Upon entering my room, I was immediately pleased with the cleanliness of it, everything was so neatly kept. Every morning I was greeted with a smile and a "good morning" by staff as they worked, each night I felt safe and secure. I truly enjoyed my stay at Motel 6, just wish the weather was permissible to take a dip in the pool.
While packing and loading last week for a cross-country move we ended up needing a room for two nights. We chose Motel 6 for location/price/pet policy. POSITIVE POINT-the staff we dealt with was extremely helpful/thoughtful (she made sure we had a ground floor room). But although the room we had looked clean there was a distinctive, nauseous smell. The dog actually started whining the minute she stepped into the room and literally did not stop all night long. She is 14 years old, very well trained and has NEVER acted in that manner before. But at bedtime, I realized the switch for the lights nearest the bed did not work and that there was only a top sheet and a coverlet (the same weight as the sheet) on the bed and was told there were NO blankets available, whatsoever. All in all, a VERY uncomfortable night, so much so that we actually cancelled the second night. Very disappointed and would never recommend that location to anyone. We weren't expecting the Hilton, but a couple of blankets, working lights and a good airing/cleaning? of the room would have gone a long way!
