Worst ever. No ashtray in the smoking room, no lightbulbs in the lamps, sheets had brown stains, heater is falling apart. I was woken up at 9am to the maid POUNDING on the door to inform me that checkout is at 11am. The room was not pet friendly, the bedframe was falling apart, so my small dog climbed inside, had to disassemble the bed to get her out. When i lifted the bed i found the accumulated filth of multiple years, cigarettes, rat turds, drug bags, and a gold chain. Do yourself a favor and pay a few bucks more for the next best place.

Do not stay here. Infested with bugs. Unsavory folks hanging out outside the rooms and some guy was grilling on a portable grill in the parking lot. Our pin for our card was requested because they claimed our credit card wouldn't go through as credit and our pin was required. We paid in cash, but you get what you pay for. A 40$ nightmare.

The hotel is infested with bedbugs I been in 3 rooms and woke up to bugs Crawling in my bed I've seen A couple roaches this used to be a ok hotel about 3yrs a go now I wouldn't let my dog stay there the rooms don't get cleaned good. I work the road a lot and stay in a lot of hotels this is by far the nastiest hotel I ever stayed in I never done a review on a hotel before but I thank ppl should know about this before hand if you do try it out hope you have better luck than me have a great day god bless

Bath was in bad repair. No lens on light fixture Accumulated dirt in the corners. Sheets were too small for the King bed. Room was otherwise clean.

It's the cheapest motel we had after 2 months traveling across the US, cleanliness is an issue however everything working with decent bed and available towels plus toiletries.
Avoid this motel if you are sensitive to smoke smell as the motel not totally smoking "free" despite the "non smoking" sign attached to all rooms and premises.
Overall, decent for overnight transit while friendly to your budget.response / report this review -

I booked this room because it was cheap and they allow pets. I was moving from New Jersey to North Carolina, and needed a stop off point. I found it very weird that people were hanging out in the parking lot barbecuing and drinking beer. It didn't really feel like a safe place. The room was absolutely horrific. I saw a roach crawl up the wall next to the bed in broad daylight. I shudder to think how many of them came out at night. The rug was dirty and had an 8 inch burn hole in it. The air conditioner was ancient and barely worked. No shampoo was provided in the bathroom.

I think this Motel 6 is fully deserving of a 5 star rating, as long as you remember : IT'S A MOTEL 6, not a Holiday Inn, not a Sheraton etc. You're going to have a couple shady looking people hanging around the parking lot. There's going to be someone(s) having a hotel party. It is what it is. However, it's clean, comfortable, and the right price. The rooms are a bit dated looking but you could tell the paint and carpet was recently updated and the furniture isn't gnarled up and full of cigarette burns. The beds are decent, linens were clean. Didn't have a depressing vibe at all like similar style motels. Basically everything was dated and old looking but well kept. The front desk employees were courteous and professional, and I got the sense they'd be accommodating of reasonable requests (unfortunately this isn't always the case Some M6's treat you like a bother and an unwanted guest they can't wait to kick out). I stayed on a Saturday night and had no issues with noise and never felt unsafe. The price was excellent (just over 40 quid including tax). The negative reviews are possibly prior to the rooms getting a mild renovation (as stated the carpet, paint, and linens appeared to be newer) or perhaps a few people with unreasonable expectations.
I stayed on a travel day/just passing through scenario but would have no problem spending multiple nights here and I have no problem recommending this motel.response / report this review -

Not only did I get charged twice for the room I only stayed on night in but as I was checking in the man was very flirtatious and intrusive.! And to top it off he used my personal information to find and then lurk on my Facebook .!
