Incredible hotel and fantastic rooms and facilities. Only thing I'd say is that the customer service is poor considering the place and location. Not rude but a couple of them acted like they didn't care or wanted to be there. Only reason why of gave it a 4.
The hotel itself is very beautiful and has a lot of amenities. The service is not the best. First, when I arrived, I was the 2nd person online to check in and I ended up waiting 15 minutes before I was helped. I told the agent checking me in that when I booked it, it stated I would receive a complimentary upgrade. He stated nohe then was not able to accommodate me with 2 beds, and instead I only received one. The room is nice and spacious, but our air conditioner did not work until almost 2 days after we checked in. The pool area is beautiful as is the location on the beach. Be prepared to wait up to 20 minutes for a waitress to assist you and get rude stares from the female day manager. Overall, loved the hotel, was just not too pleased with the service or friendliness of the staff.
Bay view is good But pretty far from beach. Staff were good..
Breakfast is average. Rooms are good.. Even the low tier ones
Loved this hotel!! The amenities were amazing from the gym to the pool area. My room was super cute with great space including its own living room area. The food was very good as well. They have a great happy hour and you basically can’t go wrong with any of the appetizers. Definitely loved this area and would stay again!
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, as is the pool. The food is delicious and well made. Most of the service and staff is great, however, my party and I have been ignored twice. Once by the pool and the second time while having brunch. Despite that, the stay was nice.
Nice pool and view of the bay. Hotel did a great job with the conference I attended. Everything was clean and the food was very good. My room did not have a dresser for clothing so I had to live out of my suit case for 4 days. One of the 3 elevators was out of order. The tile in my shower looked chic but needed extra attention to the patch jobs.
This is the only high end hotel by the bay side of South Beach, their decor and sunset lounge are magical! Nature and man mad elements come together in a fairytale setting! We enjoyed sipping drinks in the pool lounge there! Hopefully we will be able to stay at one of their rooms one day! We did go into the spa and gym and it's awesome!
Went to the Mondrian Sunday Brunch and was very disappointed . The brunch starts at 9 in the morning but the fresh Sushi is not ready until 11. In fact all the good stuff is not ready until 11. If you get there around 10 you have a very limited choice to choose from . The Brunch is 30 with unlimited Mimosa which is an extra 20 dollars . If you drink alcohol than the price is justified . Make sure you get there around 11. As for parking you should try and park in a near by parking and not use the hotel valet . It is 26 dollars flat rate regardless whether you stay at the hotel or eat .
I do not recommend the place for a nice brunch .
Went for a pool party where the employees offered world class service. DJ was amazing, scene was clean and offered incredible views and not just the waterfront it was on. Would and will come back. Memorable time doesn't fully describe the experience.
Crowded, strange crowd also . Majority are young with bad attitude.
Some staff and the rooms are good (although the furniture of the room is super basic).
For its price, I wouldn't stay in this hotel again. There is a resort fee (~ 35 usd / day) charge but the resort is only a small pool and the sunbeds. Just add a picture so people can see this and the sheer number of people.
The breakfast area and inside the lifts are usually dirty.
The main positive point is the view and the sun until late evening
If I could give this a zero stars I would. I was looking to enjoy my birthday weekend relaxing with my fiance but was met by the unsavory urban beach week crowd. There was only one working elevator, and people would literally crowd themselves into the elevator, at one time there were at least 20 adults crammed in one elevator. The view is absolutely beautiful, too bad I couldn't enjoy it much since every time I tried to sit on the balcony the stench of marijuana was unbearable. The toilet in my room ran all of the time, the housekeeping crew took all of our towels and didn't leave one clean towel for us. The noise was unbearable.. all Sunday night I heard a man banging on the doors claiming to be security. I felt unsafe the entire time I stayed here. I couldn't wait to check out of this disaster. If you are looking for a relaxing, clean, upscale experience do not stay at the Mondrian South Beach.. very unsavory crowd and atmosphere. The staff was very unfriendly, and disorganized.
Best poolside spot. The views from the pool overlooking the bay is insane. I stayed here during the week for my birthday and it was a cool laid back vibe. I didn't have any issues with it being too loud or anything. The music was pretty good as well. The poolside menu is pretty tasty as well.
This is the best hotel I've ever been to with the greatest hospitality ever. From Alex with the bags and valet next was Jess at check in omg she was awesome. J at the pool was great he reserved my bed for me and it was great. Grace by the bar made my drinks amazing, Jessica who did my room cleaning was very very polite. There is nothing that I can complain about apart from the parking prices and Rachel at the front, but everything and everyone was very great. Money well spent & I would've stayed longer. They made my entire birthday amazing I felt relaxed & comfortable. This is a must go place for anyone who wants to have that great experience. They sent a bottle of champagne upstairs to my room & I couldn't ask for better people to have been around this weekend. I will definitely go back.
