A very good location with easy beach access right down the road, good dining, and a lot of public art to see. The hotel is not fancy or elegant but has a nice sense of style and a small friendly feel
Everything about this hotel is just ghastly, other than the location (if you like the South Beach party vibe) and price for the area (again, South Beach). We just needed a last minute place to stay because our booking agent dropped the ball and this was one of the only options left in all of Miami. The staff was efficient but not terribly helpful. The valet was nowhere to be found for over an hour and is cash only, luckily we found a street meter right outside and the meters don't charge from 3am until 9am. We checked in around midnight so only paid for 3hrs that night and checked out at noon so paid for 3 more hours in the morning and didn't even have to leave the bed to charge up the meter in the morning, did it through the app (which was nice though not of the hotel's doing). Ended up only paying about $25 for parking instead of $40 for the non-existent valet. There was no elevator. Then there was the dreadful room. The bed collapses in the middle, and it's very old and uncomfortable. The fridge door opens the wrong way so you can hardly use it, plus it doesn't hardly cool at max. The lamps were all rusted and gross, one wouldn't even work. The AC hardly worked, it was very humid. The room smelled musty and mildewy, and the bathroom really smelled awful. There were no hand towels, wash clothes, hairdryer, nor iron (though there was an ironing board). And the hallways really reeked of marijuana. Couldn't get out of there fast enough!!!
Fair hotel in a nice Art Deco bullding, close to the beach
Not even one star! This place is simply nasty and very misleading! Pictures online are FALSE! The rooms are dirty and muggy. Staff is rude and could not provide me with management information. Young guy on the phone ignored my boyfriend and I at first and then spoke but very rude!!!
Stay away from this hotel, doesnt look at all to what they advertise. Payed for the room to walk in to a filthy room, dirty walls, floor was no cleaned. Im glad i didnt check the bathroom. I ran out right away.( I have to give them 1 star because it makes me)
Realy good service. People are nice and they help you to get a better deal on the rooms.
Awesome, clean l, affordable, great location, nice staff
"Quaint" is definitely the word for this place, but it comes with a lot of character as well. The staff is sparse and not overly friendly, but it's a low price and covers all the essentials. You can't beat the location either, it's a prime spot with great views for sure. We didn't spend much time in the hotel so it was an ideal spot for us.
Good value and location. Rooms were of a good standard and clean. My only complaint was that in the night, I was unwell and the member of staff did not have the details of a 24 hour doctor and said I would have to call 911. Besides this very good.
Good little hotel for the price we got! The rooms are very very basic but staff were nice and the location is IDEAL! Also really enjoyed the fact that it looks straight out of GTA Vice City from the outside! Overall I'd say if you just need a safe bed for a good price this place is perfect!
I've been staying at the century for 12 years. Back then there wasn't too much happening in that part of sobe, now its the hot spot south of 5th.
You can't beat the location. Starbucks and the beach right across the street. Prime is an awesome restaurant next door. Big Pink diner and Story nightclub right around the corner. I would spend a weekend just in that one block.
The staff at The Century are top notch. I've always got a reasonable rate. I'm hardly ever in the room but they have always been clean. Looking forward to another stay once it warms up :)
