Great place to refuel after a day on the mountain! Food is very tasty, the desserts are delicious, and they have a fancy drinks list too, but I do not partake in that. Service is always friendly and quite fast.

Hadn't been here in a long time so wasn't sure how it would be under new owners.glad we stopped because it is still amazing! I had the half lasagna and both my husband and I couldn't stop saying how delicious it was and the portion was more than enough as my husband finished mine for me. Prices were affordable, too. Will definitively be back.

Small town Italian as close to Mt Baker as you can get. The owner is very friendly, cares that you are enjoying your food and everything is up to snuff, never had a bad dish from them. It's nice to be able to get the best food in Glacier for an affordable price and never leave hungry. Beer and wine selection were top notch and very well priced.
Perfect for a night out or returning from the mountain tired and hungry.response / report this review -

Inviting venue and decent food. Would not make the drive from the city just to come, but if you're already in the area, Milano's is a must.

Milano's is a "must visit" when staying or just passing through the Glacier area. Sam and the crew really provide an exceptional and authentic Italian experience. Mt. Baker Lodging highly recommends a visit!

very late food delivery, good beers, terrible eggplant pasta. I was asked by chef or owner how it was. I said I better not say. he insisted and I said it was not good. he said: "well it's a simple pasta!" wow does it mean cheaper pasta on menu which is not cheap btw should be terrible. How can you go wrong with pasta! it's the easiest dish!!! 18% tips was included on bill! I'd give 0 if I wasn't with other ppl and I am a decent tipper. the server was good but couldn't even give each person's bill separate even-though we asked for it she declined. Drive a bit further and get much better food in town.

This restaurant is in a really cute location. We were really excited to try it. The waitress told us to pick a place to sit, so we chose to sit outside and the weather was perfect.
We were helped by both a waitress and waiter. It took a lot of time for someone to come take our order though. We first ordered a Caesar salad and bread as an appetizer. The bread was great. Really warm. The salad was also great. However, took about 15 minutes to arrive. Which seemed like forever because we were starving. Then, when we were finally able to order, our food took about 20 minutes to arrive. Once it arrived, we weren't checked on once, and we had to flag down the waiters to ask to get boxes and the check. We were totally ignored, and so was a couple sitting near us. We finally got fed up and went to the front to pay.
On top of everything, our main courses were bland.especially the pesto.
While the servers weren't rude, they weren't very friendly nor attentive.We didn't feel very welcomed.response / report this review -

For glacier it's good, but overall it's average at best. I wouldn't be surprised if this restaurant had moments of brilliance but don't expect it on a regular basis. The staff seem to care, but lack the experience. If you really like Italian food you will be unhappy. If you think Olive Garden is a good restaurant then you will probably like it. The flavor of my food a decent, but my noodles we soggy. Service was slow and busy.
It's nice to see an owner respond to a review. Call me "amateur," I take no offense. My goal is not to trash your restaurant, but to give my personal opinion of my experience. One of the main criteria Michelin rates restaurants is consistency and consistency should be your goal, not "usually great." In my personal opinion over cooked noodles in an Italian restaurant is a never event. I honestly hope your restaurant success. Consider seeing this review as constructive criticism rather than trashing.response / report this review -

We visited Milano's over Easter weekend and we were treated to an unexpected meal. Fresh arugula and avocado salad, home made bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, wild prawns and a spectacular leg of lamb. I am always hesitant to order lamb in restaurants that I don't know, but the owner recommended it and from the way he described it we couldn't resist. We are glad we did because it was the best leg of lamb we had in a very long time. Perfectly seasoned, and cooked and beautifully presented. And what made all of this culinary experience tastier is the rare selection of Spanish and Portuguese wines that you don't expect to see in this remote area in Washington state. I'd eat there everyday if I could.

Our group of 11 hikers went to Milano's to end our Mt Baker hiking holiday. Each of us ordered a unique dinner and were very happy with the chef's creations. Every one had an amazing meal, with servings that left no one needing more. Several doggy bags were needed. A nice selection of wine and beer rounded off this amazing meal.
The chef visited our table to introduce himself and received a good round of applause.response / report this review
