I love the bar and the mural on the ceiling. Potato burrito is always good, I like the chimichangas as well. People who complain it's not authentic Mexican should know that burritos and nachos are not Mexican. This is Tex-Mex food, and as far as I've seen, the most authentic Mexican in this town comes from taco trucks.

The prices are right and you get enough food to feed you twice over. Huge portions. Don't even think about ordering a large unless you're feeding an entire small island nation. The food is great, the prices are good, definitely a local hotspot.

Although I can't fault how friendly and helpful the staff were, the food here was only ok. My wife and I ordered taquitos to share, but were dissapointed with how crispy they turned out to be. Atmosphere was pretty good, hopefully we'll visit again and try something different.

Go here one time, order the potato burrito and a tequila flight or two, and your night will inevitably get better. Our absolute favorite watering hole that happens to have killer grub. The poppers are fresh and huge as well, and cannot be beat.

The potato burrito is a Bellingham staple. If you're looking for a great local place, this is it! Ive never had anything from here that I didn't like. Great food, good drinks, and great people. The only reason why they aren't getting full marks is because they need a bomb breakfast burrito.

Decent menu choices, but my (meant-to-be-hot) food was served cold. I asked them to heat it up, which was only mildly successful. Basically i dined on chips, salsa, and beans & rice (those were warm)took the entree home to reheat tomorrow. I'll give them another chance: it wasn't bad food at all, just cold. And nobody likes a cold burritoright?

Huge freaking burrito just for what they call regular. On top of that the potato burrito was delicious! The red sauce they give you taste great also. We'll definitely be going again!

Atmosphere is on point. Lots of alcohol (tequila) and all the food is huge and tasty. Perfect stop in town. They have a salsa bar and over 100 kinds of tequila. Very colorful tables and walls.

Potato burrito was really good and I liked the salsa bar choices. Nothing was too spicy, but sauces were still flavorful. Simple, filling, good food for a cold or rainy day.

I have tried so hard to like this place. I LOVE Mexican food, and so many people I know speak very highly of their food, but every time I try it (hoping maybe THIS time will be better) I'm always left with disappointment. I think a big part of it is that their hamburger meat tastes disgusting I ordered their beef tacos the last time I went in and I couldn't take more than one bite. I had my boyfriend try a bite and he couldn't believe how gross it was. He had ordered a cheese quesadilla, (pretty hard to mess up) so luckily his food was edible, but I ended up asking for a refund because I couldn't stomach another bite. I don't know if it's the way they seasoned it, or if it was overcooked, but it was nasty. I have also tried several of their burritos on separate occasions with the same results. I really wish I could like this place, but for the quality of food you're getting for the price, I just can't. Go to Tadeo's if you're wanting good Mexican food downtown.

I normally love the food here. Tonight the guy that was working the register seemed like he hated dealing with people. My husband got the cheesy bean and rice burrito I got the domesticated dragon. He had tons of rice, very little cheese or beans. The chicken in my burrito was cold and tasted old, the black beans were dry and cakey and it just overall didn't taste good. I normally take a to go box with my leftovers but tonight I trashed most of the burrito. $22 wasted tonight.

I live 1000 miles away but come here when I can. Absolute college funky, unchanged in 20 years. Menu is delicious and affordable still. Same for the tequila bar which is half the price and twice the quality of high end spots. Memorable dining+++
