A good selection of shoes, but the fella that I worked with was not at all helpfulI got the feeling like me looking for shoes was a major inconvenience to him. Not pleasant.

I don't live close to this store, but I have heard they have a shoe repair. I have a pair of shoes in need of new heel plates, so I headed over. The shoe repair dept is closed for a few weeks so he can "catch up", but they don't have anything posted on their website saying this. I suggested that they might do that so people don't drive 20 minutes or more to get here for shoe repairs The woman at the counter said "Oh, we just put shoes on the site, nothing else." Really?? Anyone who wants shoes repaired may want to call before heading to Mieras to see if they're up for any business.

They were very helpful and had a wide variety of quality shoes. They sprayed my shoes with silicone or something similar for free.

To be honest, I just went in because it's hard to tell what shoes fit from online and was pleasantly surprised to find the price was EXACTLY the best price I could find online at Zappos, Amazon, and anywhere that I spent considerable time looking at. I can't say that's true for all shoes but that was my experience today. Plus, someone was waiting on me. The selection was great also. I also thought, if I do find a better price online, is the difference more than I'd tip a waiter for dinner? It turned out to be a great experience for me. It cost me nothing to shop locally.

I wouldn't be able to shop here if I want provided a uniform allowance through work. I've always been very happy with the service. I'm difficult to fit and the sales people are always very helpful.

Absolutely great people and service. My shoe stitch wore out and they replaced it for free in under five minutes. I would recommend them to anyone. My family has went here for many years and we have never had a problem.

A longtime, Westside family owned and operated shoe store, that by som miracle, continues to stay price-competitive. I quit going to the mall chain shoe stores ages ago, and have never looked back. Remember when shoe stores fit you? When they had shoe/boot repair departments? Mieras still does - and our family loves that!

I see below a statement that says, "Great return policy." I cannot even begin to describe how inaccurate that statement is. Understand this, and read their policy before you take my word for it, "THEY DO NOT REFUND WORN FOOTWEAR." So, if you like me find that the shoes you bought do not live up to their promises don't expect to grt your money back. You WILL NOT. It's their absolute policy. They may give you an in store credit for other shoes, but they will not pay you the difference in price if the replacement pair costs less then what you originally paid. I will personally never shop at Meiras again. I hope that you read their fine print before shopping there yourself. Lest you be incredibly disappointed, and leave the store feeling as if you were shafted.

Walked in every one was busy with a customer but were greeted upon entry and were told they'd be with us soon. Helped out within 5 minutes of being in the store. We looking for work boots. Got shown exactly where to look. Told us which ones they sold more often and then brought out two choices that we chose. My husband decided which he liked best but were told they were not water proofso he treated them for free to make them water resistant. Great little family owned store. Excellent customer service.
