Upon boarding the last train leaving Middletown, Pa lastnight one of the employees was so rude to my mother who was helping me with my luggage.. As he was putting down the steps he gave my mother this evil look as to say back up when he had more than enough room.. She asked him for help with lifting the luggage and he said I aint lifting no bags in a ugly tone. Even his co worker had to ask him"Are you good?" As he stepped down to help. Im very upset I've been home for few hours now and still can't sleep thinking how rude and unprofessional he was to my mother.

We live in Pittsburg and love driving to this smaller station, rather than the one nearby in Harrisburg. This station is not as well known as the Harrisburg station, but it has ample free parking. Our choice to travel to NYC, Rhode Island for 4th of July weekend, and other East coast destinations.

Good budget option to get to Philly, parking is difficult. Too few spots for commuters.

Good budget option for Amtrak. This is an Amtrak train station and you can save $10-$70 for departing here instead of Harrisburg. Would not recommend if there is bad weather, as we got some on our last journey out of here and everyone waited in there cars before boarding the train. The only regularly scheduled daily train service out of here is the Keystone and the Pennsylvanian visits once per week.
