My fiance and myself visited the Turkey Hill Experience just this past weekend, and we had so much fun. Granted this is geared toward children, we still had fun as adults there. You can learn the history of the family who started Turkey Hill and learn more about the ice cream process. It really is a lot of fun for both adults and children. We also did the taste lab, and I would really recommend that! For those whom are going around Christmas time, look to see if they have the deal on tickets which also includes the Christmas Magic light show in York Pa. We ended up only pay 60 cents a ticket to see the Christmas lights, and the tickets there cost $10 each. We ended up saving over $9 a ticket. Be warned though: the tickets including the Christmas Magic lights was an online only purchase and was not available at the actual Turkey Hill Experience.

A happy and fun day, staff was friendly and helpful, the hands on experiences were great for all ages. Ice cream making was very enlightening. A wonderful time that will be remembered forever.

Great for kids & big grown up kids. Make a video of your own Turkey Hill ice cream you create on a screen. Make your own ice cream that you get to eat.

We enjoy this place each time we visit the area. I'm not giving it 5 stars bc they decided to take away their mother's room/nursing room. I had to nurse my baby on a stool in the family restroom on a recent visit. I just feel that for a family place they really should have a dedicated room for moms and babies. A very nice woman found the stool for me and apologized that I had to feed my baby in the bathroom. She said that you all used to have a mother's room/nursing room but took it away. I find that to be a real shame. Please consider adding it back again- as it makes for a much much more pleasant experience for moms and babies.

This was a great time. We got to make our own ice cream flavors and eat them. There's more to do here than you might expect. Lots of history of the Turkey Hill company, information on the processes they go through to make and distribute their products, and games (including video games) for the kids to play that educate on the types of healthy and unhealthy bacteria that the company and ice cream lovers encounter on a daily basis. Make sure you get there with enough time to spare, as parking is limited. They will shuttle you from the local high school, but that's a little over a mile away.

A super fun experience! 9.95 entrance fee, but you get unlimited ice tea and ice cream samples. For a small additional fee you can experience an ice cream making class (lots of flavors and mix-ins for a truly custom ice cream), and for a few more bucks you can go to a tea tasting to try some familiar and exotic teas. You can purchase tickets online or at the factory (classes fill up fast). There are a lot of fun educational games, materials, and films. Great for kids, and your adult ice cream/ tea lover.

So crowded but fun. If you want to do the taste lab and make your own ice cream, by tickets prior to going. It kept the young ones (age 6 and 9) entertained for a few hours. Plus you get free ice cream samples of generous size.

Awesome and really fun for all ages. We did the basic tour and we're very pleased. Would recommend getting there early as it gets crowded quickly. If we went an hour later, we got there at opening, I think I may have rated this a 4 and not a 5. Great for the price!

Great for kid/grand kids. The actual part where you make ice cream is somewhat informative but is basically a bit of money for the same TH ice cream you could buy for less at the store. The museum part was a definite plus given the way it mixes information on how the business started/grew with food and nutrition facts. On balance was glad we made the trip, but would not recommend traveling far for just this. We coupled the TH Experience + ice cream lab with a trip to the Dutch Apple Theater which is about 15 minutes away for a great day trip to Lancaster

Although it was designed for children I went with three other adults and had lots of fun. I liked seeing the history of milk delivery but the endless ice cream sampling was the highlight​. I also really liked creating my own flavor which is something you have to make a reservation and pay extra for. A couple of the displays weren't quite working but overall it was fun and I would go again. Oh, be sure to save some cash for the gift shop because you'll probably find at least one thing that you want.

Great place for kiddos. Took my Girl Scout Troop. I was worried it would be too "preschool" for them but they all enjoyed it especially making their own ice cream flavor and commercial (ages 9-14).

A fun experience for the kids especially for Sunday afternoon. They learnt how to make ice cream as well as experienced making their own flavor in the taste lab. The unlimited ice cream tasting was good and we definitely ate too much. Would recommend it as one of the must see experiences when visiting Lancaster.

This is a very small place but fun none the less. There's a tea area that teaches you about different types of tea / offers free samples. The rest of the experience is based around ice cream. Along with fun facts you can sample ice cream flavors for free. We spent the extra $5 for the taste lab where you can make your own pint of ice cream. You get vanilla ice cream to start with and they have a ton of extracts, syrups, and toppings to flavor it. Don't fill up on samples before hand because you don't get a lid to take your pint home, it melts pretty quickly so you kinda have to eat it before you leave.
