It's a broad variety of fresh baked goods. Fresh meats and cheeses. Ready to eat food from different Countries. Seafood variety cooked and fresh. Natural foods and Fruits. The Market offers a wide variety of things. Visit it's worth the aromas. Even if you don't buy.

I thought I would update my review of over 10 months ago in which I raved about Knead, the brick oven pizza that's off the chart. For those pizza lovers it still is. The Broad Street Market Management deserves a BIG SHOUT OUT on the many vivid improvements to both the physical aspects of the building and the wide variety of first rate grocery, food and non-grocery vendors. It's however unfortunate IMO that management is not open minded to working with this local guide on a Google Map promo. But I guess all their hands are on deck keeping what has been accomplished intact

This place has improved being cleaner and better food selection. Some stands are pricey. Hummers meat market, excellent! Great bakery stands Shoe Fly Pie not greatest. Parking, tough especially in afternoon and Saturdays.

Authentic City market that has been around for ages. My dad took me here as a little kid and I've been coming here ever since. Any kind of food or produce is available inside. Great atmosphere.

This is an amazing market full of a huge variety of hot cooked foods, from American burgers, to traditional African, Korean and Indian food, and everything in between. You can also get fresh organic produce, meats, cheese's, breads and pretty much anything you can think of. Such a fun place to visit and shop at.

This is a great market and a true gem for our family after having moved here from the DC Metro Area. Tons of culture, great people, and a ton of food choices. Every time we have family in town we bring them here. I do have one gripe and it annoys me beyond belief. The market hours on Thursdays and Fridays indicate that the market is open until 6. I assume this is so people can get there after work like my husband tried to do yesterday. Two of the places he tried to pick up food from were closed early (before 5:30). The market is only open three days a week and until 6 PM2/3 days. Is it too much to enforce hours for all vendors in the market? With the exception of e.vanilla (who only closes early when she sells out of her delicious donuts), I think it’s unacceptable for vendors to close when they want, outside of established hours. When you go to the mall the stores must legally stay open until mall hours end, same concept here. Thankfully Phyllo was open and I had a delicious lamb souvlaki and Greek fries. You can never go wrong at Phyllo! Anyway, the make your own hours thing is the reason for my 4 stars instead of 5.

It's hard to give a rating for the whole market when there are so many groups inside. There's not enough parking and tempers flare sometimes. If you plan the timing right, you can get in and out fast. I love the pretzel stand the most. They have pretzel wraps. Try the Chicken Bacon Ranch or Pizza. The Harrisburger stand is great for burgers, if you couldn't tell. There's so much food from different ethnicities that everyone can find something they like. You really have to try it.

I gave this place 5 stars because of the value it holds to the Harrisburg, PA city community.
This market is a gem and offers quality reasonably priced produce, meats, food, and other items for all to purchase. The market has been expanding its vendors which adds diversity to its customers.
The market has been around for a while and serves as a pillar to its most loyal customers.
I personally visit the same stands because of their quality service and personal touch to their service.
    A must visit!

Great market! If you haven't checked out the Broad Street Market in the last few years I highly recommend you go. It has changed a lot and there are tons of quality vendors. Each time I go I want to buy everything and eat everything. The Market keeps getting better!

A great place to pick up some produce or find something to eat. It is a little rough looking inside. I recommend getting something to eat and eating it across the street at the midtown scholar or outside if it is nice out. The large variety of foods makes this place quite special. There is plenty of parking available here.

This place is awesome, but be sure to get there before 5pm. We were there at 5pm on a Friday and most of the place was packed up and closed. Maybe in the warmer seasons they'll open later. Either way, lots of different food stores, delis, produce and various types of places to eat. A little bit of everything and it all looks and smells great.

Oven Fired Pizza my new love. Yes one of the new venues you can find inside Harrisburg's Broad Street Broad Street Market is a place called 'knead' and I became a convert today. That is to oven fired pizza. The order line was short but I am sure when the word gets their order line won't be short for long. In any event I suggest getting your order in early. This place is in one word a WINNER. Good luck to 'knead' for success in Midtown and congrats to the Broad Street Market for attracting another HOT business into Harrisburg.
