A place you can trust with your Family pet. The staff is top notch professional with a family attitude. There taken care of all 3 dogs I've owned. I will recommend them to anyone.

In summary, I brought my Border Collie here because she was losing hair around her face. Dr. Tammy prescribed her a drug called Ivermectin. Upon a quick Google search later that night, I discovered that Ivermectin can have fatal side effects in over 70% of Border Collies. When I questioned this, Dr. Tammy had me return the medication immediately. She admitted fault, saying she was having an "off-day" and that she'd conduct a Google search of her own to figure out alternative treatments (not at all reassuring).

We have been to a several vets over the years with our black lab Brooke, and it is usually very nerve racking for her. We took her here for the first time after a recommendation from our neighbors, and we're blown away at how great of an experience it was.
They were much more thorough than the other vets we have been to, and took excellent care of our dog and made sure she was comfortable throughout the visit. They constantly fed her treats and talked to her while examining her to keep her distracted. We have been back a couple of times now, and instead of getting nervous she is actually excited to go to the vet. It is clear that they are passionate about what they do and that they cared about our dog's well being. I cannot recommend them enough.

Awesome friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff. Have longer hours on Monday which helps a lot. Take both my cats there for all their needs. Very reasonable prices which they will give you up front before hand.

I have 2 dogs I have been taking there for the past few years since moving back to the area. My parents always took their dog there, and he lived to be 17yo.
They have always been very accommodating and helpful in ensuring my dogs remain healthy, or helping them get better from sicknesses or injuries.response / report this review -

Dr. Sullivan make us feel like Nala is the only dog in the world she cares for. We have a great experience every time we go. She takes the time to answer any questions we have and we never feel rushed during the appointment. Nala is never scared to be there and staff always make us feel very comfortable! On or last visit The leg came off one of Nala's toys! Dr. Sullivan performed "surgery" on the toy and returned it good as new! I would recommend them to people I know in a heartbeat!

I have a favorite vet there so when I got my new dog, I took her there even though it's inconvenient since I live in the Vilas Park area. The vet saved my previous dog's life through good diagnosis of his illness. So far she and Swift are off to a bit of a rocky start since Swift takes exception to getting shots. Hopefully over time she'll get used to going there.

We started with Middleton Vet Hospital in 2005 when we moved to Madison, WI. From the first moment we walked in it was a wonderful experience. The staff is simply top notch, and our dog loves going to the vet. Everyone knows him and makes a big deal that he's there. We've always gotten wonderful care and most important, they are very accessible. They have long hours and weekend hours, and I've been able to reach them whenever I need to. They always find room to see him if there is a need. I have nothing but good things to say about Mid Vet and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a great vet office. "Bailey" loves the folks at Mid Vet.

I've had two different dogs since I came to Madison over 10 years ago and I've taken both to Middleton Veterinary Hospital and received quality care. I usually see Dr. Sullivan or Dr. Cherney and they're both great but I've had good experiences with everyone there. I have an un-fixed male hunting dog and I've heard stories about other vets pressuring people to neuter/spay but once you make your wishes known here, they respect that and that follows with other issues as well. I would and have recommended Middleton Veterinary to friends and they've been happy with the choice.

They are so nice! My dogs love going there and are so excited to go in the door. They get great treatment and staff have saved both of my dogs' lives when they've been critically ill.
