Between the Michigan and newly remodeled State, massive choices in Ann Arbor at State and Liberty! We attended Christmas orchestra concerts at MT, just fantastic. So many choices plus beautiful surroundings, just go, you can thank me later.

Restoration turned out beautifully. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a great place to see the latest Star Wars movie. My wife and I really enjoyed our evening there!

Beautiful venue, and could see easily from our seats under the balcony. Acoustics we're clear and easy to distinctly hear our concert. Definitely would return.

Love Love Love this wonderful historic theater with regular organ (that rises up from below!) recitals before the movie in the main theater. Tonight? A special event with Todd Rundgren in the house. Life is good.

If you like the idea of an older fashioned movie theater experience, come here. I like that their movies are not main stream. Their popcorn is really good too.

Interior design was beautiful. Some aged paint but good design everywhere else. Acoustics were kind of flooded with bass camouflaging the vocals, which could be bad audio tuning or just my first time in a theater like that.

Nice restored theater. Wife and I want to see a band play. Gentlemen with red "Staff" shirts on had hoodys on with hoods up Very unprofessional.

Love going to the Stamps distinctive speaker series that they are hosting every week. We saw Chriso the sculpture there this week. He was there speaking about his latest work. Those who know him may say, "Christo is the greatest Wrapper in the world." He is 83 years young.

Great theater, we went down to watch Bruce Campbell. The building was very nice and they server alcohol if you are a member, which you can join when you get there.

We have always enjoyed the Michigan Theater. Great venue to catch a movie, film festival or live music. Looking forward to seeing the renovations and restorations at both Michigan and State Theater.

A rare gem, this old theater hosts one of the few remaining vintage pipe organs and offers a unique experience to movie lovers like myself. The film series are amazing. They also host live shows and concerts.

We visited the Michigan Theater to see Vulfpeck in concert. It was a great venue with good sound and excellent lighting. And the show was awesome. My only complaint is that the whole theater stood the entire show even though we had seats and the rows were very close together.

Beautiful theater! I just went there for the first time a few weeks ago to see Colossal and fell in love with the place! Reminiscent of the old school theater experience with reasonable prices. I have intentions of frequenting this establishment as much as possible in the future.

Tonight was my very first time going to see a show at the Michigan Theater. At the last minute my friend decided to go see a different movie than we had originally decided on. Even though we were 15 minutes late we decided to give it a shot. About 30 minutes into the movie my friend leaves me to go smoke a cigarette.
At that point I realize I can't stand to sit through the rest of the movie. Its just awful. So I decide to leave. On my way out I request a refund because the movie was terrible and I didn't even want to stay. because I'm now wasting my night on a stupid movie.
At first the manager was nice and totally approachable. After a few seconds she turned very rude and bitter, treating us like we were stupid for asking. Like we had already seen the movie or something. Thats ok. You can keep my eight dollars. Because I will never go back. Especially after being treated like garbage over eight bucks.
Like seriously? I'm not gonna waste my time in a movie that sucks. Its called the price of doing business. I have never been treated so rudely over such a small fee. I feel insulted. I am never going back. Save yourself Just go to Rave. Totally disappointed. Customer service is everything. And that lady was ridiculous. Obviously we are leaving because the movie sucked. I won't waste my time there. Who does that? Hope this helps. I'll pass.

A beautiful landmark theater that was renovated back to its prime that takes you back in time. Though the seats are a bit snug, the rest of the theater makes up for it. The downtown location is a big pull for a evening out for dining and a movie. Keep you eye out for other performances that make their way to this iconic theater. Better yet, become a member and enjoy some perks.
