THE iconic place to buy hyper fresh, unpasteurized cider and the best fresh made donuts with your whole family on the weekend. See the old time cider press still operating.
The cider and baked goods are amazing here! I just wish they had more parking, we ended up parking about half a mile away
Every fall, I look forward to visiting Dexter Cider Mill. Great donought, great Cider. Try their hard cider if you like your hard cider less sugary. It's like "craft beer" vs 'bud light", and is much more flavorful then angry orchard.
Watch out for the bees!
The cider is very good (much better than Blakes), the donuts are warm, and there's honey and pickled goods to check out while you wait in line to check out.
The place is nice too. There's easy access to the basement so you can see the cider making in progress. There are tables out back with a lovely view of the river, but beware of wasps!
Excellent donuts and cider! We've come back a couple times this year alone. I keep hoping they will have hard cider in stock but it's hard to get ahold of! The parking situation could also use help. Oftentimes you are parked 3 inches from the cars on your sides, with many small children running through the parking lot without paying any attention to the cars.
There was a long line but it moved quickly! Great stop! The donuts were amazing! Must eat them when they're warm. Don't forget the cider slushie!
The donuts and cider are amazing but they need to get the yellow jacket situation under control. There were tons of them flying around all of the delicious, sugary products. I got stung and I would imagine I wasn't the only one.
Classic Michigan cider and donuts can never be bad, but they can be great. Here they are great. Frankly amazing cider, but there are lots of bees so if you are allergic to bees you might want to steer clear.
Nice small location for cider and donuts. It's a place just to drive by and get a treat, no playground for kids. Worth a 20 minute drive but no more.
Good cider and doughnuts. The only issue I encountered was the lack of available seating. They do have a few places to sit, but we were instantly swarmed by bees in those spots. I guess that's understandable. I would still go there despite that minor inconvenience.
The pumpkin donuts are otherworldly. Those who brave the line will be rewarded. The bee problem needs to be addressed though. So many bees trying to get those sweet sweet pumpkin donuts and apple cider.
Cute little cider mill with lots of town history and charm! Great cider and awesome donuts. Even offer cider slushies! Always busy on weekends - line long way out the door but it moves pretty quickly. They have a good system.
Really good cider and donuts. The view of the river behind the mill is nice too. I wish they accepted more than just cash and I wish they had some sort of solution to the number of bees but that's probably impossible.
