Absolute greatest pizza you'll ever have, forget about NY style or Chicago deep dish pizza. Who wants flat and greasy or something drowning in sauce and cheese - Pittsburgh pizza is exemplified here with the perfect combination of crust/sauce/cheese. Your pizza nirvana search is over.
Their pizza is the bomb! It's really that good. It's a small dive place that has great food at great prices!
I got the daily special. Grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Very good. Fast affordable
Inexpensive and unpretentious, Michael's is an old school corner bar, with good food and friendly service. My 5 year old granddaughter loves their pizza.
Michael's pizza is very, very good. We continually show up on Thursdays for 80¢ slice day. Best day of the week! The dough is fluffy, sturdy, and not soggy, and there is just enough cheese, but not too much. Great sauce. If I have one complaint about Mineos (which is actually within walking distance of my house, but I go to Michael's more), it's that they put to much cheese on their pizza and I feel disgusting afterward. After Michael's, I just feel happy. The atmosphere is pretty much what you expect of a pizza bar. It can get cramped, but I've never really cared because the pizza is so good.
The pizza and twisties (their form of breadsticks) are amazing. Their dough is super light and yummy. This is by far one of the best pizza places in Pittsburgh.
Great pizza and a relaxed atmosphere. I always enjoy stopping in here.
The food is great. It's a great place off of East Carson Street to grab a drink and a bite. The staff is very friendly and it is a very local vibe.
Quiet little pizza bar. There was only one waitress / bartender while I was in there for dinner. It wasn't pa ked, but it could definitely get overwhelming if the restaurant and bar filled up. Great menu options and the pizza I ordered was delicious. One of the better pizzas I've had in awhile.
