    Genuinely disappointed.

I’m glad we went in for small bites and dessert and weren’t too hungry. Ordered the bread with goat butter, which was mostly good except for the areas where salt was dashed with a heavy hand. And guys slice the bread all the way through, seriously. Tried the lamb ribs with tahini yogurt, they were well done & crispy with tahini yogurt sauce. They would have been tastier without the sauce and a little juicer. Last thing we tried was $14 apple pie with toasted oat ice cream. The pie itself was good but not $14 good. As someone that frequents Fireman Derek’s and enjoys a $7 slice, I expected something twice as tasty.

The layout of the restaurant honestly gives me anxiety. No matter where you are seated or where you are walking it’s like you’re always in someone’s way. Also a bit hilarious and sad at how disappointed our waiter was with our ticket, I hope he wasn’t having a terrible day.

    Nope.

Just simply wonderful! Great relaxing atmosphere, service was exceptional and the chef accommodated my allergy. Duck confit, pig ears and the whole snapper (keep the head on) are a must! You will not be disappointed, but please note this restaurant is for "foodies" if you're a picky eater and don't enjoy unique dishes, stay away.

If you want to WAY overpay for mediocre food and hang around a pretentious stuck up people then this place is for you. Not worth the wait or the price. I'd rather go to capital grill for this kind of money.

I went here for brunch one day and was presently surprised. The food is good, and the waiter was extremely nice. The location in the design district is pretty awesome! 5 stars.

I have always loved this place m, it had been about 3 years since my last visit. Service was good, the server was not as genuine and enthusiastic like the previous times, maybe because this was lunch time. Ordered a grilled eggplant and a twist on the classic Caesar salad. The eggplant was blend, the skin was too crispy, felt like I was eating burnt paper. Inside was creamy and tasteless. One of the worst eggplant renditions I ever had and I absolutely love eggplant. The salad was well put together but it was extremely salty, too much dressing. The server took a long time to check on me, it was a while after I had finished that he came to see how I was doing. Later I had to ask twice for my check. The restaurant was at 50% capacity. It saddens me to see such a jewel in Miami not live to it's hype.

Get the fried pigs ears that have been dry spiced with magic dust. The yellow tail crudo was simply amazing. I used a spoon to get all the delicious sauce. And the chicken liver pate toasts were lovely. We had a 3 and a half pound whole roasted branzino fish and that is more than enough for 2 to 3 people especially if you try more than one or two of their mind bogglingly good appetizers. It looks majestic when they present it. And we also ordered the bone in rib eye and it provided us enough food to subsist on as we fled Hurricane Irma. Great service. Great experience.

Enjoyed brunch at Michael's. We dined at 2pm and the restaurant was packed even though brunch ends at 3pm. Really enjoyed the tuna tartare, crispy potato chips, sticky bun & french toast. I wasn't a fan of the strawberry pie or the crispy pig ears. The pig ears were sadly lacking the crispy. Cocktails wise, pass on La Vie En Rose and opt for the Lavender 75.

Awesome food, great customer service, and beautiful atmosphere. Located in an EXPENSIVE part of the city, Michael's Genuine Food and Grill has fair prices. Definitely genuine, definitely tasty. Severs were deeply knowledgeable about the process of the restaurant's food and even had recommendations for dishes that best complimented each other. Food was nothing less than great. Each ingredient had its compliments to the dish. Even the bus boy helped to explain the menu. Definitely go. I recommend the short rib.

Absolutely amazing! I loved the atmosphere. The food was the best I've had in a while. The 1/2 chicken was so perfectly cooked, I am questioning whether I've had chicken before! Our server was also incredible company and a joy to be around. I can't say enough good things about this place!

My husband and I went to Capital Grille on a whim. Since we did not have reservations, we sat at the bar. The service was wonderful! You are started off with a great bread basket filled with lavash, seeded crackers, warm bread and a wonderful creamy butter. The lobster and crab cake and the calamari and cherry peppers are delicious!!

I really enjoyed this place until I started going there more often and realized how much the place served more and more meat - especially in Summer. And then I became allergic to gluten and it became very difficult to eat there. The staff tries but the options are limited and it takes forever for the busy staff to go talk to the chef and come back with answers. If you have no allergies, don't obsess about veggies and local in season items, and get organized to reserve though the food is beautiful, the setting is nice, and the service is mostly efficient.
