Nice place to spend the day with your children. We brought a 3yo and she enjoyed the shows and the ice cream.

We did a Big Excursion trip here (pick up and drop off at hotel plus admission). Skip this. It took 2hr from Sunny Isles (about 30 min away) and wasn't worth the cost savings versus uber.

Awesome experience. This place has lots of trained sea animals and live shows.
If you are planning to visit here keep at least 4 hours aside. As it is worth your time and money.

Amazing place for adults and kids..my husband had Sea Trek reef which was really awesome. I enjoyed killer whale, Lolita's show. She is true beauty. Must visit place.

Don't waste your time and money. This place needs a LOT of maintenance, better shows and more animals. Parking lot is 10 dollars plus 50 at the door plus anything your going to eat inside ( water is 4 dollars ). Now if your going to charge people this amount of money you need to have a REALLY good place to show ( not the case ). I gave 2 starts because the idea is really good and the killer whale shows is ok.

I have been to the seaquarium many times before.My experience there hasn’t been very good nor bad. I did the dolphin odyssey and the sea trek reef encounter. The reef encounter was amazing and I would give it a ten. The dolphin odyssey was great, but the wetsuit was kind of gross and the waiting room was hot and filled with traps. However, the facilities were gross and the tank Lolita the whale was kept in was WAY to small for her. The entrance price was outrageous. 45 dollars for a badly kept aquarium! The worst part was when I was in the children’s park I cut my foot with a rusty nail! Thankfully I got cut and not a younger person. The manager was really nice and we got our money back and annual passes. This was a very nice review for the facility they have. If you care about animal rights and good food/facilities , you should maybe just go to another aquarium or join the protesters next to the seaquarium!

We went for my girlfriends birthday and we really believe that the staff at this place is planning a mass suicide because they all look absolutely miserablethe park is basically empty and i can understand why.i felt like i needed a metaphorical shower after i left because i needed to wash the memory away. Half of the exhibits were closed because of Hurricane Irma which I understand but that was never mentioned to me during purchase.Extremely disappointing experience. We were in Mexico a couple months ago and the aquariums and experiences were breathtaking.this makes me sad to be an American. Thanks Miami Seaquarium, for robbing me of those few hours of my life i will never get back. The only good part was the one skinny tall dolphin trainer, he was cool, but even the other dolphin trainers were rude to some of the foreign guests.

Went there about a year ago and paid the $90 or whatever it was for two people. To echo everyone else (putting it mildly) it was atrocious. None of the animals/fish seemed to be cared for, the park was empty, and none of the employees knew anything about the exhibits they were running. I spoke with a manager and got my money back. I would absolutely under no circumstances promote anyone to support this place unless the money was 100% being used to release anything living, or to bring them to a facility that will properly care for them in humane conditions.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had at an aquarium! This place needs to be shut down!! It was dirty with trash everywhere. The fish tanks were so dirty you could hardly see the fish. The habitats for the animals were too small. The poor creatures should be sent to a better place or let back into the wild. All the people that work there should be ashamed. Such a sad sad experience.

We visited the seaquarium on 7/11/2017 and purchased the tickets for dolphin odyssey for 167$ per person including admission. First impression was good because we went to see the dolphins swimming. But after that we were very disappointed . I imagined it would have the big windows inside to watch the animals but it was just tiny windows divided by walls . Although they did have all kinds of fishes . So we went swimming with dolphins and it was fun it was a great experience . However when we went in the water on of the guides explained what's going to be next in Spanish since there were 3 Spanish speaking people. Then she called me to do whatever she just said in Spanish and when I failed to do it she gave me attitude about how she just told me to do it ! Overall I would not pay 2$ for the aquarium itself , but the dolphins were great. The staff in the aquarium was nice and helpful but the staff working with the dolphins were a little nasty. And by the way if you do the dolphin encounter or odyssey it's better if you have an "observer" with you who can take pictures since the photographer they have is very pricey. I believe you have 3 choices :1. Book , which includes 4 , only 4!!! Of your pictures for 100$! 2. Online was 64$ per person, where you get over 70 pictures . 3. Only 1 picture for 45$ 😡Also, the whole place is old and dirty the bathrooms were not hygienic. If you go on a day that's warmer than 80 degrees don't expect to go inside and get cooled off because there is NO AIR-CONDITIONING! Also, the poor whale has a tiny little pool that she can barely swim in . I would never go back and if you go there you are supporting them to keep animals in bad conditions .

This place needs a little love. Maybe an expansion to make it a bit bigger with some new attractions or something; it's virtually unchanged since at least the early 90s. It's not bad, but for what you pay you expect more.

We love this place! It's an intimate family setting that lets you learn and enjoy about animal sea life. Super educational! I LOVE that I can share the same experience of Lolita the orca whale with my daughter!

This place was clearly run down. You would think it would be closed by now. The animals were not in good conditions. The whale was in a small pool and she had to share it with two dolphins. There clearly wasn't enough room for all of them to live in there. There were two sharks that were in a small tank and their tails were hitting the edges and were folded up, they couldn't fit. Mostly everything is outside which I didn't realize and on a hot sunny day it is almost unbearable. The food was surprisingly good though. In the back with the turtles and crocodiles there were two turtles that were badly disconfigured. Their shells were busted in and they had trouble swimming and it didn't seem like any of the staff cared to help them in any way. Overall I would not attend this place again it was hot and I didn't have a good time.

We were able to experience the dolphin encounter which was so awesome. Our guide was super nice and very knowledgeable. We were able to see a dolphin perform multiple tricks and only a few feet away from us. We were also able to touch and kiss the dolphin. A great experience. As for the seaquarium itself it didn't seem like much was going on because it had rained for about 20 min and most of the food had closed down due to the rain. Maybe we just caught it at a bad time.
