Serviceable bar food, lots of grease. If you want beer options though, this is your spot. Draws an interesting crowd, which leans early 20's at night. Lots and lots of beers, tap and bottle, and supportive of the home brewer community (with free bottles for home bottling if that's your thing).
Great veggie burger and large patio! After reading many reviews of the homemade barley lentil veggie burger, I decided to try it for myself. It's quite good! What I love about the burger (besides the fact that it's homemade), is you can add 3 toppings for FREE! I went with guacamole, cheddar cheese, and caramelized onions. The guacamole was great and the caramelized onion added some nice flavor, I could do without the cheese. The fries are nice and crispy. The roasted brussel sprouts are also very good, the aioli complements the sprouts well.
The cocktails are okay, I ordered the Grapefruit Crush and it was too sweet. After taking a few sips, I couldn't drink anymore and handed it over to my fiancee. The Moscow Mule was nice and refreshing. The ciders are pretty good, but come in large bottles and can be quite pricey at $26/bottle and $48/bottle. It would be nice if Meridian Mint had more draft ciders.
The staff is very friendly and great. Overall, I had a great lunch and would def recommend it to fellow vegetarians.
I can't say enough good things about this place. Some highlights: vegan options including brunch, amazing beer selection, lovely patio, pinball machines and weekly trivia. The service here is fantastic too@
Styled in a corner pub feel Meridian Pint offers a casual bar experience a few blocks from the metro. Friendly service and fair happy hour prices with a large selection of craft beers on tap. Great for a date or hanging out with friends.
Food was amazing, best bar food I've had in DC! And as for the choice of beer, there's something for everyone here, you'll not be left wanting. All staff I spoke to were so friendly and attentive, really helping make it a special occasion. On a more minor note, the music in the bar was great, not one duff tune played. Will definitely be seeking this bar out whenever I'm near DC again. You won't be sorry you visited Meridian Pint :-)
The Veggie Burger is amazing!! Loved the guacamole on it. Highly recommend this place, really enjoyed the atmosphere and outdoor seating.
I've been coming here since it opened years ago and it has always been great. Their beer list is always solid with good variety. I find a lot of bars stock too much of what is hot and lack menu diversity of styles. They always have a good eye on this. I usually go to basement bar because it is more chill and hang out like vs. upstairs restaurant portion. Overall one of my favorite DC spots to drink.
Meridian Pint has great atmosphere and is a nice lively space. The main floor is nice and open with string lights above the bar. The place offers a wide array of beers and ciders. The food is good too - its a good place for appetizers, a burger or a full dinner.
Great place for drinks and snacks. The lower level has an awesome bar and video games. I will definitely return when I'm in DC.
Cool vibe, outstanding craft beers. It's a rustic joint with high end pub grub. The brews are local and seasonal. You won't be disappointed
My favorite place for beer and burgers pretty much anywhere. It has a laid back vibe for D.C. which is part of why it was our consistent date night spot until we moved. It gets busy, but there's usually a spot downstairs
100% success rate here for our date nights or hanging w/ friends.
big, rotating tap with all types of beers you'll want to try.
basement has pool tables and another bar with tons of TVs for NFL games.
great for family dinners upstairs, and we've never had a bad experience in 20-30 visits throughout the years.
