It's a bar! Happy hour drink specials were great. Get there early if you want a seat. Otherwise, make peace with the fact that you'll be standing in the same space that people will want to walk through all night.

Very mediocre, drinks are pretty overpriced and the wait staff does not make the experience worth it. Go to Barcelona or Chicken + Whiskey instead.

Nice bar on 14th with decent drink prices and a dance floor when the nightlife starts to get going. They play Netflix on the wall so if you're bored you have something to pay attention to.

Great bar atmosphere with a good food menu. You can order from the Blackjack menu, which is primarily pizzas and sandwiches, or you can order from the Pearl Dive menu (restaurant below), which is mostly seafood.

We were sitting at a table drinking.. we were in a booth and two on stools.. someone came up and asked if we were using the chairs we were sitting in.. we said yes.. he said ok move.. we said do you work here sorry?.. he said ok you want to be assholes we can take this outside I jumped in saying threats aren't necesary here and he further threatened to hit me and was bumping into me trying to fight me (I'm a female) he followed me and my friends trying to initiate a fight down the street when we tried to leave crazy and unprofessional

Yummy drinks and nice waiters. We were a decent sized group of girls who just took a corner booth in the back so we can laugh and giggle. However with it being a Tuesday night, the tables at the back were empty. With the booth out of sight of the bar, the waiter never checked up on us. Not a big deal as we can just go to the bar to order. We were there mainly to hang out and talk anyways so didn't need much service.

Upstairs from Pearl Dive, this place is less formal than the restaurant below it. They have many beers on tap and can serve imaginative cocktails. One of my favorite sandwiches in DC is made here. It's a BLT with what appears to be a pound of crispy bacon - stacked like a log cabin, smokey mayo slathered about, large tomato for moisture on Texas toast. It's divine.

Toward the weekend and on the weekend this place gets packed later at night.
