Had a wonderful weekend stay here. Easy walking distance to everything in downtown Blowing Rock. Everyone on the staff that I met was very friendly & helpful. Had a pretty good breakfast spread, better than your average continental breakfast at most places at least. Our room was very nice and clean and I loved having our own little private pool downstairs!

Great service, cozy atmosphereyou can walk to all the good restaurants and shops. Parking is close by and the complimentary breakfast is just the icing on the cake. I have stayed here several times and will continue to do so when I am in the area.

Meadowbrook Inn was a quaint inn with a good location for easy driving to Boone and other amenities. We rented a room with a fireplace which was awesome since it was a chilly day and evening. Breakfast in the morning was ok, nothing to rave about. Overall it was a good experience.

Good location in Blowing Rock. Not bad place to stay, but overpriced in my opinion. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. Mattress not very comfortable. View was not what I hoped. Was staying there for App State family weekend. Person at front desk was kind and helpful.

We stayed in one of the WONDERFUL Pool suites! It was really a great relaxing ROMANTIC getaway. The room had a separate king bedroom suite, a Living room with wet bar with a microwave, ref. and coffee maker, gas fireplace and patio off the Living room. A large bathroom with a triangle shape jetted tub and duel shower heads. Then downstairs you have your own PRIVATE pool with floating mats. They also provide bathrobes and large pool towels. You get a free buffet breakfast. The staff was GREAT. It is a vacation we will never forget and we plan to return.

Pleasantly surprised. Friendly, personable front desk staff, huge suite, fireplace, garden view. Walking distance to The Public House (farm to table restaurant). Included breakfast, chef visited in the morning, shared food, tips, and more. Would definitely stay again.

This a completely adequate hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The style is somewhat of an older, classical feel, which was fun! The location cannot be beat. You're less then a block from all that Main Street has to offer- shops, restaurants, coffee, bars, parks, and ICE CREAM! Our biggest complaint was the breakfast. To say hot breakfast included is a stretch. The pancakes were fine, but the clearly pre-packaged, cold, watery eggs and sausage were not good. And that's it for the hot food. Overall we had a good experience with a friendly staff. Convenience is the key feature of this place!

Well worth the money, good value for your money. Clean spacious rooms with everything you could need and the staff, especially the young lady that ran the front desk when I was there was amazingly nice and helpful and turned me on to a local restaurant I'd have never known about if not for her. I'm sorry I can't remember her name because she deserves something more than just a half mention in this review. If you come across this the long haired guy you sent to The Local thanks you so much for your help, you are sweet and helpful beyond what's necessary for your position.

A Wonderful Experience! The hotel was lovely and clean. It obviously is not a chain, and has a high-end yet comfortable feel. Our room was reasonably priced and extremely nice (we were shocked at how nice the room was compared to what we paid). We stayed overnight for my college graduation from App State, and even on a high-traffic weekend, the room was very reasonably priced (especially considering the price of other hotels in the area). I will absolutely stay here again, and soon!

We have stayed here every year for 5 years for skiing at Appalachian (AMAZING deal if you can come mid-week). We have always loved this quaint hotel. The morning breakfast is filling, if not amazing.
Something's rotten this year. The hot tub that we so thoroughly look forward to after a day of skiing closed? I hope they reconsider.
It seems in general like they've been neglecting some basic maintenance items.

This is not what we were expecting. Don't waste your money on this place. For the money we paid (over $300) for one night I expected a lot more. This place is dated and in major need of maintenance and upgrades. I CAN'T believe I paid for this. The pictures online look great but you are not getting what you see online.
