I attended a wedding reception hosted in the hotel. The event space was a good size for about 120 people to have dinner and dance. There was a separate room for the bar and cocktail tables as well. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

We tried to make a room reservation to join a 30+ friend’s Thanksgiving get together. The girl Summer who made the reservation didn’t know what she was doing and said she’d send a confirmation email which I never received. She said the morning person would call me the next day to work out the room details. It became such a hassle after numerous calls that I cancelled and stayed at another motel. Then we had Thanksgiving dinner there with 30+ people and by the time we got our menus everyone else was done eating. Two of the people at our table had to go to the bar to get their drinks because the server never brought them. Then the server asked for our order and we told her we hadn’t even gotten menus or a place setting. We asked 5 times for bread plates and the server never brought them nor asked how the food was. Which by the way was just ok. Cracker Barrel would’ve blown them away and for far less then $38 a plate! We asked to see a manager when the bill came and the server disappeared for 20 minutes and when she came back she said are you all ready. Referring to paying the bill. I said I asked for the manager and she said oh she wants to know what you want. I told her I want to talk to her about our dinner. I literally had to go to the kitchen to find the manager and get her to come out. She tried comping one meal and a beer and I said no that’s not good enough. We were just ordering when the 30 other people were finished. She said she’d have to go and speak to her manager. It took her forever and she came back and said that her manager left. I said we’d pay for one dinner and the beer but that’s it. I wrote my number on the ticket and said to have her manager call me if necessary. Lori called me the next day and had the audacity to try and charge another meal. We’re disputing the $24 tip for the server who was awful and we’re blocking any future charges. There was probably 10 rooms and 30+ people that they made money on and Lori had the gall to try and charge a $38 mediocre turkey dinner. STAY AWAY! Overrated and rude staff!

Awesome inn with great service, especially Spencer and Justin at the Divide Tavern!! Spencer has an awesome personality and is great with guest. However the manager Lori is horrible and is very demeaning to her employees. She needs to show some respect to her employees and to the guest. Management can make or break an establishment and she could very quickly ruin this place.

We visited The Green Park this past weekend. The staff was very accommodating and so helpful! The bed and all bedding was so comfy! Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the scenery was lovely! The Inn could use a lot of TLC, however. I have to say that it was pretty shabby and I was disappointed to say the least. The location is right on the busy highway, so if you are looking for a peaceful setting, this isn't for you!

Very accommodating staff. Super nice as well. I would definitely stay again. We had a few animals due to evacuating from Georgia to get away from hurricane Irma and they were so understanding. Hopefully I'll be back in the Blue Ridge Mountains soon enough and I would definitely stay again!

Very interesting and old fashioned. It's like being transported back in time to the era of the industrialists. They have amenities that most modern upscale hotels don't think to provide anymore. The building is historic and old but the staff will bend over backwards to make you happy with absolutely not one ounce of snark. Very friendly and memorable. I plan on returning to explore more of Blowing Rock and will stay here.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were dated but we both thought it added to the charm of the place. The complimentary hot breakfast was pretty good, the room had AC, plus there were robes in the room which were very nice and comfortable too. Overall it was a nice enjoyable time, and we would definitely come back!

The staff is one of the most helpful and friendly hotel staffs I have ever met, and the rooms are nice for the most part. The hotel offers a lot to guests, such as the great service and nice lobby area, in order to make the experience much more wonderful. The only complaints that I really have are that the traffic from the main road is noisy, and there was a strange smell by the stairs for a moment. Other than that, the hotel is well worth the stay.

The room was terrifying dirty and dated with exposed piping. Was told by locals and staff that the third floor is not rented to guests because of paranormal activity. Googled what they meant by that and found countless reports of suicides, hauntings, paranormal occurrences and paranormal groups investigating and finding evidence of spirits co-inhabiting this haunted nightmare of hotel on all the floors and the basement. When I asked to check out they were very accommodating because people check out early quite frequently because of the ghosts. Only recommend for paranormal groups and enthusiasts. Not the right hotel in Blowing Rock for business, vacation with your partner, or family vacations. Google "haunted green park Inn Hotel" for more videos and evidence.

A snow storm appeared out of nowhere. 321 was at a standstill. Welcome to the mountains. I had no reservations, but the staff was very hospitable. I had a very relaxing stay in a very nostalgic beautiful inn. The piano, the warm fire, the foodit was awesome. The only thing missing was my better half. A+ grade all the way around. Thanks Green Park Inn.

My husband and I returned to the Green Park this weekend for our first wedding anniversary. The staff was kind and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakdast was delicious. Charlie, the weekend piano player, is sweet and very talented. It's a pleasure to listen to him play. We hope to return for many years to come.
