McLaughlin Mayflower handled our long distance move to NC. They were great with communication during planning, estimating and the move process. Loading and unloading was done quickly, efficiently, and carefully. The price was good too - in fact we received a refund due to lower weight than estimated. Couldn't ask for a smoother move!

Do yourself a favor and hire anyone but this office of Mayflower Transit. I had a terrible experience on every level. Lack of communication between account manager, dispatch and driver. Multiple handling of my belongings after I was assured that it would be handled only once. A disrespectful and demeaning driver upon pickup, and at times took an aggressive tone. Had to stop the truck in the driveway as they were pulling out to have them pick up their lunch trash that was in the front lawn.

I talked with the account manager about the entire situation, he understood but had no power to do anything but listen. Talked with the owner’s wife who handles customer relations… she listened and understood but did absolutely nothing to even attempt to remedy the situation. Actually, I really don’t think she even cared. The entire operation out of this location from my perspective is inefficient, mismanaged and their drivers/movers have no business dealing with the public.

Moving is stressful enough and the sole purpose of hiring a moving company is to reduce stress, unfortunately this was not the case with Mayflower Transit. Please do your homework (more than I did) in hiring a moving company and do yourself a favor and steer clear of Mayflower Transit.
