After totaling my little Ford Fiesta and deciding on a Mazda3 for my next vehicle, I began the tedious search for the best price for my budget. I went to another popular dealership in Cleveland and got a quote on a 2018 lease that was out of my price range, and they did little to budge on it. I then got recommended to Mazda of Bedford, and boy was I glad I took the trip out. I was straight with them and told them my need for a payment to be under a specific amount. I originally went in to look at a pre-owned, but after hearing my payment requirements and my car requirements I ended up walking out with a 2018 lease on a Mazda3, with everything I wanted AND within my budget!! I couldn’t be happier! Also, the entire environment was so familial and calm, I didn’t feel like I was just another sale. It was especially comforting to know that my girlfriend and I were welcome with open arms, and she was so impressed that she’s thinking of going back in the spring to get herself a Mazda! I am one happy lady, and so much thanks goes to Jerry, Sean, and Shannon for getting me in a safe car that I love and that I can afford.

The salesmen don't care about selling lower value cars, I was in heavy negotiations to purchase a 1995 Saturn SC2 coupe and after I gave them my final offer they never called back. A few days later I had to find out on my own that the car sold, would it really have been that hard to call me and let me know that the car sold? Judging by how many offers I made, and the two trips I made to the dealership from where I live in Willoughby, it wouldn't have been hard to assume that I was interested in the vehicle. They obviously don't care about you unless you are spending some money on a new Mazda. I worked with Mark Rice on this deal, of which the entire time he never seemed interested in selling the car. a $2,000 deal was a waste of his time and he didn't bother showing it with his attitude towards the deal. After they checked out my current car for trade in they came back and said that they felt transmission slippage. That's a lie and they knew it to, if the transmission was on it's way out it would have went already, but here I am a month later still driving the car fine. My transmission shifts just fine and I drive it on the freeway everyday with plenty of stop and go before I go on the freeway and after I exit. If the transmission was slipping, something would have happened by now or I would have noticed considering I drive my car everyday. Frankly, I'm staying far away from this dealership with how poorly I was treated. If you are in the used car market and think negotiating over a few hundred dollars is reasonable then go somewhere else, because low value deals are obviously below them.

I bought a car from this place with the help of their sale’s associate named Phil. He was very friendly and helpful. I bought a 2014 Forester almost brand new. They gave me a good deal on it and I left very satisfied, but as soon as I got off the highway, the car just turned off. We figured it was the battery because the dealership and I knew it was dangerously low (Phil told us that he recommended we get a new battery as soon as possible because the dealerships’s mechanics had double checked after we informed them about it through our mechanic’s pre-purchase inspection) so we bought a brand new battery and installed it, but the car still wouldn’t turn on.

We bought a car, brought it home, and it just died. You can imagine the disappointment and fear that we had accidentally bought a lemon.

The next day we contacted the dealership. The mechanic that we spoke to was very helpful. He told us that the dealership would have the car towed back to the dealership and they would pay for the towing and would try their best to get the situation resolved. Then when my husband went to pick up the car, the manager wanted us to pay for everything. Service, towing, and time. The manager refused to believe that one of his employees had agreed to anything.

We had completed a $16,000 purchase the day prior and the manager wanted us to give them more money because “their mechanics have to get paid for their service.” Then the manager began blaming my husband for something being wrong with car in the first place. An employee had to come over to my husband and his manager and confirm that the dealership had agreed to pay for the towing and so we left having to pay for the mechanic’s service and car parts.

After this experience, I’m sad to say I won’t be returning to give them anymore of my time or money. We were made to believe by the sale associate that their customers are taken care of during and after a purchase, but this experience made us believe that they are just like any other dealership. Friendly when you flash your money, but as soon as it’s theirs you’re SOL.

    UPDATE:

Soon after the car had its problems, the dealership that we bought the vehicle from called trying to make amends for the incident that occurred. They completely detailed my car and even fixed an unsightly scratch that had appeared on my new car between the time it was towed and when I had gotten it back from repair.

I was impressed with how well they tried to rectify the situation after the incident.

Phil is a great salesmen. He’s was very helpful and honest. There are two managers at this dealership. The Manager, Patrick, was also helpful and will most likely be the only manager at this dealership that we will speak to from now. The other manager, whose name we never caught, is the one one that is rude and disrespectful.

I didn’t delete what I previously wrote because it was an honest review of what I had to go through, however, the dealership did work to try to make matters right.

I was here looking for a s3 hatchback in June of 2016. My dad and I came in and had great service. Ted (Edward) Ross answered my questions and explained the Pros and Cons of each model. He did not try to up sell in anyway or BS me! He was extremely kind and informative.

Following my lease, I've reached out to Ted, SEVERAL times with questions about my lease, repairs, wheel key locks etc. He was extremely responsive and friendly. A great guy to have on your side when you make such a serious financial commitment to lease a brand new car. I'm glad I can trust him, and Mazda of Bedford. Thank you

I've bought Cars from many other dealer's and I'm most definitely going purchase all my cars from Bill Anton and Phil Cohen at Mazda Saab of Bedford for good. I've had positive experiences here at MS of B. And their service department is second to none. Tom Metzger and Tom Powell should never leave mob. I won't deal with anyone other than Mazda of Bedford.

I have to give this dealership a 1 star, and will advise anyone to NOT use their service center. Less than a year ago I had my 2007 Mazda 3 hatch in for an issue and asked them to please check over my transmission. They said there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and said it was just my cable causing my gears to disconnect. I had it in again a couple months later, because the issue was never fixed. They told me once again that my transmission was doing great. I also looked at my car when I pulled out of the dealership and it looked like a car side swept my back left quarter panel and my reflector was missing. They told me that wasn't their problem. A few days ago, I had my car towed in! My car was no longer going into park, neutral or drive. They call me a few hours later and tell me my cars destroyed, because my transmission is blown. Can't imagine how upset I was? I was fuming, because I owed $3,600 on the vehicle still and had it checked over by them twice!! Mazda certified technicians my butt. They tried to sell me a car, and told me that transmissions can randomly just go. I now own a 2017 Jeep Compass, that I had to roll negative equity into, because these mechanics do NOT know what they're doing!

I went to Mazda of Bedford early last month to trade in my vehicle for a 2017 Mazda CX-5. The salesperson I dealt with seemed to have little interest in selling me the car which seemed quite odd. When they looked at my trade-in vehicle they said they detected engine issues which they said needed to be inspected. After inspection they could not figure out what the issue was. Frankly I feel like they were making this up to lower my trade-in value. They told me they would get back to me with an offer for trade-in. After a week I called in and the salesperson said they could not do anything.

I went to Montrose Mazda in Kent and they gave me more money for my trade-in than the KBB value and gave me 1.9% financing.

Mazda of Bedford may be good if you are not doing a trade or maybe I got a crappy salesman, but my experience with them has been very poor.

Stopped here after a horrible experience at another dealership nearby. The salesman was low pressure, friendly and honest, and I got exactly what I needed and wanted in a car and a great lease package. When my lease was up, I headed right back for another mazda from these guys.
